83 under sunny skies with a nice breeze. Put my new soft close toilet seat on, that’s nice. I was still living in the dark ages I guess. Got my spreader and other stuff from Lowe’s yesterday but haven assembled it yet. I had some indoor stuff this morning. I’ll try to get to it later.
We made a deal last week with a reputable resto shop to do a total exterior restoration on the El Camino. Leave it in August and done in November. There are two good shops here, this one is a friend of the family and around $5000 less expensive.
Going to put a car port behind the bigger garage and enclose three sides. Going to move both tractors and related paraphernalia into it and put the El Camino in the smaller garage. That will give us back a bay under cover.

Adjuster is due tomorrow about the awning.

I have eaten salt in watermelon as a kid, but I prefer it without, it’s like lemon on fish, if it’s fresh it doesn’t need any help. I can’t use the sodium either.

Good morning! 77˚F mostly sunny, heading into the mid 90s with the heat index 100+. Summer is here a week early. The good news is that it's getting very dry fast and our muddy park will be ready for cedarciding later this week.

The neighborhood RV club is heading to Michigan - a caravan of 14.

A friend of mine did a complete restoration of a '67 Elco about a year ago. Bought it for peanuts, did all the work himself with some help from his adult son, and sold it at an auction for 150% over what he had in it.

"Master Plumber" is the name of the manufacturer (or distributor) of the filter. My guess it's (was?) a captive brand sold by a chain such as True Value or Home Depot. Probably long gone now though.

Try TrueValue Hardware ... looks like it might be their brand ...

Well this morning’s appointment was time consuming if nothing else. 10 pages of forms to fill out and sign. When I asked why they just just didn’t tap into my primary care electronic file, she laughed.
Another 45 minutes sitting in waiting area before intake by very personable nurse. Only a few minutes before Dr came in and he spent a couple minutes talking generically about my issue before taking another 10 seconds to actually look. Then he spent a few minutes explaining my options. Basically I have a cyst on my back. Likely been there a while, more than likely I have others. Nothing serious to be concerned about.
Three options:
1. As it isn’t bothering me I can return in a few weeks and get it removed.
2 Should it flare up and become a bother I can returned to get it drained and once healed return for removal.
3. Do nothing and not be concerned. Referral good for 3 months should I change my mind.
#3 sounds most appealing.
Seems to me what I heard today should have been what I was told by PC weeks ago instead of jumping into a referral for removal.

I honestly believe our system has diminished into, “he has insurance, let’s make another appointment”

Drew, good news about being cancer free

Just FYI, it was Jun 2006 when Sophie had her turn with endometrial cancer. 15 years is something to be grateful. We are blessed.
