Good morning!!!!

When I have to install multiple v belts often I will install one then while manually rolling the unit over,
then walk that belt across the pulley one grove at a time. Some times starting the second as soon as the first is clear of the first set of grooves.
Occasionally I will have to use power to get the belts to walk over a groove at a time..
Thanks for the tip!!

I've been doing some inside work today. So, the flail mower will have to wait...

65°F and .07 inches rain

Good success getting waste lines plumbed in, hooked to main line. The kitchen line particularly fun working in confined space. Plywood floor in container is a pretty dense plywood 15/16 layers. Bathroom lines more straightforward except finding that elusive final coupler so I could glue the whole thing, but I found one saving a special trip to town.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Apparently a lot of people are feeling like Roy did a few weeks ago and are getting tested for covid. In the Austin there are 1,500 to 1,800 people a week with ailments similar to some covid symptoms but only 2% are testing positive for covid. What's making people sick:,

“More adults are coming in with upper respiratory complaints, including rhinitis (colds and allergies),” Dr. Jeffrey Champ with Austin Regional Clinic said. “We are also seeing more anxiety-related complaints as well as patients with COVID-19-related symptoms (fever, cough, muscle ache, headache, fatigue), which are not necessarily indicative of the disease.”

“We’re seeing more viral respiratory ailments, colds and some gastrointestinal (stomach) complaints with diarrhea and nausea,” pediatrician Dr. Natasha Ahmed said. “We’re also seeing the beginning of hand, foot and mouth, a virus common in young children, which presents with skin rash, fever, sore throat and mouth sores. While it is not a serious virus, it is very contagious.”

I do the hand roll, but take 1st belt all the way before doing 2nd.
Trying to imagine how you do with power.

I'm guessing a foot clutch operated pto so you can start off gently?

What makes it a bit easier is disconnecting the PTO driveshaft from the flail mower's gearbox...that way, the upper pulley can be rotated.

My PTO has electric switch so that wouldn’t work. Would also be a 2 person operation? Then again I’d likely get a finger caught. I do use my heavy leather gloves as even manually I’ve managed a pinch.

About the same for me...I make sure idler pully not putting tension on the belt, also start the belt on the smallest pully first.
