Out here it's not cicadas, it's Mormon crickets for the 3rd year in a row now. Anything that's green is gone very quickly when these 2" monsters are on the move.View attachment 699644

Do flocks of gulls ever decend on the Mormon Crickets? I've read that the Mormon experience with them wasn't an isolated occurrence.
