We have a couple of companies dedicated on fabricating all kinds of protections and shielding for tractors and a the bigger dealers will do it in house as well. Main use of these tractors ends up being either logging or land clearing, mainly brush mowing as we don't really use skidsteers for that. They also are setup with forestry tires.I really like that. My M126X is my bush hog tractor and she has a few battle scars.
Home made or pre fab kit?
Very nice. Looks like it makes routine maintenance a bit more challenging though.
One thing I noticed about working outside in the summer time late afternoons, on my canopy-equipped open-station tractor:One thing I have noticed about cabbed versus non-cabbed tractors: If you are on the tractor for long hours out in the wind and weather, the cab makes it much less fatiguing. 8 hours on a non-cabbed tractor will leave you dehydrated and physically wear you out, but is much more manageable with a cab.
Everything causes a ruckus on this siteOne thing I'm noticing on cabbed vs non-cabbed tractors is that it causes quite the debate on a tractor forum!
