Are people being forced to live in DC? Or prevented from leaving? Seems to me choices have consequences and they are welcome to make other choices. That's like someone moving out to the country next to a hog operation and then complaining about the smell.

I'd leave it there & sell it as water front property.... the way the real estate market is right now you could probably sell it before someone even knew something is wrong...
