Thanks. Looking at ideas. I have an area, about 8x8 that I envision a lean to type. This would be a David Design as it only needs 1 side, 1 end, and the roof that tie into existing structure.
David, I was first thinking of this one, but I would have to build a higher stem wall to boost it up higher. We decided to go freestanding. I believe they make some wider (6-8') too.

I would definitely shop around, I got ours through HD for $125 cheaper than anywhere else. Same brand, same features.....

The base is leveled and compacted! WOOHOO!
I am beat... even though slow and steady with frequent breaks was the norm. I was thinking of doing the paver stones, but tomorrow is another day. Those bags of sand somehow doubled their weight since I brought them home:oops: image.jpg

67°F and zero rain

Looks like a day of mowing ahead.

Guys vs Girls Hand & Foot this afternoon. Kirkland stuffed crab on the menu. Sophie going to try her hand at homemade Mac&Cheese, not my favorite dish, but why not.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
David, if you want a really good recipe for baked macs, let me know and I'll post it.... 3 cheeses, +BACON! We just made some this past weekend...mmmmmm

I like macaroni and cheese alright, but my wife LOVES that stuff. I think she'd have it for every meal if I allowed it. BUT as we've gotten older, slower, and lazier, it's now Velvetta Shells and Cheese here, and we ALWAYS have it on hand.

Cold and windy 44F. I was going to mow this afternoon but I decided to heck with it. Too cold.

How about this for a first of spring? The first spot of poison ivy. Right on my wrist between my cuff and glove. Dog gone spot itches. Woke me up itching the last two nights. It usually doesn't bother me this much. I've still got to figure out how to move the poison ivy tree that is leaning over the lane.

Where's Spring?

Chris

Boy, a chilly day today!! Only hit about 38° today, and breezy to windy...plus on and off snow showers all day
Some ice on the interstates this morning. I kept around 50 MPH and never use cruise control when there's a possibility of black ice. My foot can tell me what the front end of the truck is doing.
Got a really really heavy duty pallet from work today. None of the planks are less then 1¼" thick. I'm going to use this for the front blade during warmer months and for the bucket during the snowy seasons when the blade is on the tractor.
Since I now have a self leveling loader (really nice feature!), I think it's time I invest in a set of pallet forks
The advantage is one doesn't have to try to keep the forks or bucket level by using the curl/dump function. You just use the lift and lower function and the forks stay level, no matter the position (height) of the loader arms

Is the vine dead? That's where I'd start. Cut it, then spray the stump with Remedy (or anything else with Triclopyr in it):

For the rash, back in '11 I had poison oak real bad and my doctor prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide cream USP, 0.1%. Twice a day after gentle scrubbing with as hot a water temperature as I could stand. Cleared up in a little less than a week. Got a few dots of it now, and they were gone in just a few days.

Where's spring indeed? It's going on full blown summer here, complete with fire weather warnings. I'd gladly trade that poison ivy remedy for some cooler weather and rain. ;)

Up to 51 from 35 early, very windy and clouds running.

Got my infusion for the day, takes about an hour. The medicine is in a clear vinyl bladder smaller than a tennis ball, so I can hook up, drop it in my pocket and go about my business. Reminds me of the bladders in some non aerosol cans like Edge shave gel. It infuses 100 ml per hour and I get 100 ml.

I have a good friend that use to own a small drugstore chain here, I found out a couple of weeks ago that he has multiple myeloma, the chemo is kicking him good. I talked to him this morning and he’s a bit better day. He’s a very energetic 76 year old and still plans to go to his cabin in VT in 3-4 weeks.

I felt good last night, a little less so tonight.

I hope you all have a great evening.

Thank you.
Wife modified “recipe” to include, sharp cheddar, pepper jack, velveeta, coconut milk, ginger and garlic. Used some weird noodle - casarecce. Was going to top with french fried onions but out, so crushed, buttered Ritz.

Would love to include BACON, we even laughed about it as Diane doesn’t eat 4 legged critters. I was tempted to look at turkey bacon yesterday.

Looking forward to seeing yours.
