Good morning!!!!

Mornin all, somewhat sunny.
Been scattered showers since Friday, but did get a lot of plants in, and another flower bed raked for another 4 dump carts full. trip to Princeton and Peddlers village to alleviate some of the cabin fever.

Wngsprd - how is Coco ?
L4N - sorry to hear hospice so hard on patients- Prayers you DIL does not suffer too much at the end
Randy - hope this is your last episode for a long time-does not sound like fun-sorry to hear stuck at hospital
BEF- went to 5 guys last night- we get the single patty burgers- 3 burgers and large fry to share about $27.
Roy I have the same aerator going on 6 years, used twice a year. I still use cinder blocks, your setup looks much nicer

Heard a red tail yesterday-looked up, seems to be a mockingbird!

Took my first run with the M18 pole saw on a 30 foot branch hung up in another tree. Performed quite well. Did have to re-tension the chain. Looks like it does leak oil, but not if placed tip down.
Line trimmer attachment works ok, would be happier if it spun faster, but it does work.
About a 30 minute run between the 2 attachments and battery only down one bar. Will need to buy another battery to do the road line and driveway of I try to do it all in one day.

Still need to dethatch and aerate lawn, more planting, more sticks to pick up. and a slew more projects-about 4 weeks behind from when I was sick-still not fully back, but getting there.
Need to do an oil change on tractor-parts arrive tomorrow, as does my 2nd Pfizer dose, we will see if I am up for anything after that.

Stay safe and be well.

57F and sunny @ 11:00, headed up to 65F for the high.

Pileated woodpecker drumming off in the distance.

Fry are absorbing their yolk sacs, probably a little slower than I would have guessed. Expect to see good progress today when I go down there. The top of the egg tumbler is open and below the water line ... so they should be able to escape to the tank once they become free swimming. Possible some already have.

The dominant male in the S. fryeri tank is becoming very aggressive (wants to spawn, but so far no takers) and the rest fish are getting a little beat up as a result.

Got banana worm cultures fed yesterday, still need to make up a new container(s) to start some additional cultures. Got the front glass cleaned on a couple more tanks.

Also got three of the N. multifasciatus and the lone J. ornatus up to the living room fish tank and everyone is in the process of staking out their new territories. That frees up one tank I can move some J. marlieri juveniles into for grow out ... hopefully before the parents kill them.

Spent most of the day working on kitchen clean up though.

Agenda for today:

Feed fish.

Vacuum out tank with the Super Reds in it/partial water change. Top off other tanks as needed.

Refill bird feeders.

Clean up patio around back.

Cut/sand some lumber for tank racks.

Mow lawn.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ... (y)

I try not to eat too many hot dogs and buy unprocessed ones when I do, but the provenance of the ingredients always makes me wonder...

We don't eat them a lot but nothing beats a good dog done up on the grill.

Hebrew National's are our preferred brand here.

But as Wingsprd said, the perfect mustard delivery device. Let's face it you don't put mustard on toast or cake.
RS would certainly not use mustard on one of his sheet cakes, so how do you eat the stuff? Many of us can't spoon it in straight.

The Woman's macaroni salad, made along the lines of her mother's recipe ... can't ever get enough of it ... ;)

Grilled over fire is definitely best, but dogs (and brats) from our air fryer are a pretty close second.

The all-beef from Ballpark are pretty good, but Hebrew National do seem to be top of the heap.

Ball parks plump, beacuse they are full of water. HN are pretty good and they are forced to use cow parts vs.....

Rswyan any chance of the recipe- I have never had a macaroni salad I liked and my kid loves the stuff.

I've usually bought the Hebrew National but also Applegate Farms

had to cancel my Bermuda Cruise. Celebrity still would not answer my questions, for the third time,
regarding vaccinations, masking and limitation of passenger numbers. Once again I was told nothing to tell me.
Am beginning to think being an early adopter here brings some potential problems I would like to avoid, like being on a cruise ship
in the Atlantic and not being allowed to return to the US because of a spreader event onboard.
Disappointing but no surprise. There really is a lot of business disfunctionality continuing due to covid.

time to go put some turkey burgers on the grill for lunch. Have sweet onion I want to slice and cook also
for the burgers. With some sweet and sour habanero marinade on top.

69°F and .11 inches rain.

No big plans for the day, see what comes.

Zoom Happy Hour this afternoon.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

I just renewed the license sticker on the Jeep for two years...$120.oo.
I sure am happy I live in the north. People in Southern Ontario pay $120./year. I pay $60.oo/year and get 'em 2 years at a shot.
