Sorry, guys, trying to add these boathouse images on a new platform. Anyway, I wanted to say that we have now started to paint the boathouse, but SWMBO and I disagree on the main colour for the walls. I favour the same reddish-brown for the walls, and she wants yellow. Any opinions on what will go well with this red trim?

Roof will be Forest Green

I would paint the walls gray. Unless you like the Spanish flag.

If you paint it yellow you’ll be able to see it from mikes away, like beacon drawing you home.

Sorry guys, I’m way behind. I woke up extremely sick yesterday, Ellen drove me to the ER. Septic pneumonia again, 103+ fever most of the day, couldn’t breath, you know, all the good stuff. They put me on three antibiotics and breathing treatments. I’m on Z pack, rocephin and Vancomycin. I’m much better today, fever broke overnight and I woke to a sweat soaked bed. I don’t remember much about yesterday, maybe just as well.

OK, I’m done whining. Hope everyone had a good couple of days. Prayers for the DIL, wives and anyone else in need.
I’ll check in later or tomorrow depending on how I feel.

Well my 10 minute mod turned into 3 hours counting time to find the appropriate material. Have to say I am happy with results.

So here is electrical all back together and functional.
Tomorrow the plumbing.

Now to bake some brownies and roast some chicken.

41F, cloudy, and spitting rain @ 21:15.

Haircut this morning before appointment with accountant.

Taxes done, just need to sign, put a stamp on them and get them in the mail ...

Stopped at friends on way back to pick up 4 power filters and more shells for the shell dwellers, also stopped by new pet store (mainly to have The Woman look at fish, which she really wasn't into) ... then ran by Mexican Resturant to pick up takeout late lunch/dinner (which she was very into ... )

Fed all the fish after dinner, then went to strip the one Sciaenochromis fryeri female that appeared to be holding. Didn't even get the chance ... she spit them all out as I put her into the container I planned to do the deed in. Did use a polyethylene pipette to pry her mouth open and check to make sure she wasn't holding out on me.

Was surprised at how many there were ... I'd guess close to 2 dozen:

She was the smallest of the three (known) females I have, and was looking like she was getting pretty hungry. She immediately scarfed down some pellets after I put her back in the big tank.
