Mornin, rain today
Got the M18 trimmer and pole saw yesterday, by the time I put it together the rain started.
So got it warmed up and charged, but that's all

L4N - our thoughts for you DIL
Paul - my Boss spent most of his life in the Bahamas and I am originally from LI. Seems like travel across borders is still a bit away from being easy. Not that it was ever that easy. I remember jumping on shuttles to Boston. Pay for ticket, walk onto plane, miss those days.

Stay safe and be well

Paul, safe flight to the Abacos. What I have read is that fishing is back big time, less tourists, more fish and larger.
Almost 100 percent of Marsh Harbour was flattened by Hurricane Dorian so they have had to rebuild most of the island, including
the air port I'm sure. Aquamarine water there the prettiest I have seen.

blood work done, food shopping done, should be a quiet day.

41°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 61° today.

Got part of the grass mowed after work yesterday evening. Got everything inside the fenced in yard, and the side area between the house and the barn. Got the Husqvarna line trimmer out, and it fired right up. As much as i don't care for the curved shaft, that thing always starts and runs great. Trimmed inside the fence, and removed the grass from the new flower bed around the flagpole for The Wife to start moving tulips in there today.

More mowing after work again this evening.

62°F and .09 inches rain.

Continue on with my pool pump project. Convinced myself I should add another electrical outlet while I have the panel open. That will add another “10 minutes”

Hand & Foot dinner this afternoon. I volunteered to bake a batch of brownies.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good afternoon! 47 and likely as warm as it will get today. Big drop from yesterday.

Got a call from the farmer that gives me some free firewood from time to time yesterday. He asked me to stop and get his trailer full of wood plus small trailer of wood to load into my truck. So I did, not only did he have the wood loaded, he had split it as well. His trailer is about 6x12 that is a bit overloaded, plus there was about a 1/2 bed of wood on his small trailer. All red oak and locust. Parked the trailer until this weekend, but unloaded the truck.

Mowed last night, again. Had mowed Saturday, needed to mow again. Grass is so green and thick this time of year. Forgot I had emptied the can of diesel, so had to limit how much I mowed.

Been relatively quiet this week at work. Just sat through a presentation on some video software/equipment they want me to learn to use for training. Hopefully they realize I am retiring end of the year. I am thinking someone who is gonna be around should learn it. But the most “obvious” candidate for that has a difficult time figuring out how to install a light bulb....

Thoughts for everyone who needs them

Everyone stay safe out there

Good afternoon! Threatening to rain but not. 62˚F, 200 lightning strikes the last 3 hours 8 to 20 miles away.

My wife and neighbor friend went to look at some model homes in another neighborhood to get some decorating ideas. This is alway a bad idea. She came back disappointed because all the models were sold, every house under construction was sold and every lot was sold. With all these tech companies moving to central Texas there is a serious housing shortage. Used houses are being sold above listing price, ($10K to $70K above) Realtors will not even consider putting in an offer below asking price. My neighbors house sold in 3 days $50K above asking price. Usually there are 500 to 700 home for sale in town on March 24th there were 76.

Sorry, guys, trying to add these boathouse images on a new platform. Anyway, I wanted to say that we have now started to paint the boathouse, but SWMBO and I disagree on the main colour for the walls. I favour the same reddish-brown for the walls, and she wants yellow. Any opinions on what will go well with this red trim?

Roof will be Forest Green

Well . . . I'd agree with you, but that might get you in too much trouble; might be easier to just go with what SHE wants.

I guess it's getting that way everywhere. We keep getting phone calls and letters in the mail from realtors wanting to sell our house for us OR WANTING TO BUY THIS PLACE THEMSELVES. And in my opinion they are offering more than I would have thought it was worth, but since we still need a place to live, I've been ignoring them.

It's been such a dry Spring here, I ran the sprinklers on the lawn for almost 10 hours yesterday in hopes of making it rain, and all we've gotten is a few sprinkles.
