My "FINALLY" car is not an old car, but it's not made anymore. Does that count?
Flew out to PA last week and drove it 1885 miles home. Been wanting one sinse 2006 when they first started production.
2008 Pontiac GXP
300 HP turbo 4 cyl 5 speed roadster. (Not stock)
Absolutely no practicality, just FUN.

The thread about the Chrysler turbine cars made me think about this. I would love to have that Chrysler but the top 3 vintage cars I would love to have right now are all 1957 models. First would be the Studebaker Golden Hawk, then the Ford Skyliner and then the DeSoto Adventurer.

I know there are many more exotic models but I have simple tastes and the 50s are special to me. Outside of the 50s the DeLorean would be my 4th choice.

In 1969 I had to sell my 1967 Mustang Fastback, 390HP, 4BBL, 4 speed. At the time I bought it used in 1968, we didn't know my wife was pregnant. The closer she got to the steering wheel with the baby in the oven, the harder it was for her to drive a muscle car. Sadly, I sold it, and bought her a 1967 Chevelle Malibu.
If I had the stang back I would love to get back to those burn outs and winding roads after putting in a hard days work traveling SOCAL in a company car.
