Better yes but to be less misleading mention the price cuts at on the lower price models.

The Model S Plaid is a refresh of the Model S that came out in 2012 and is is still well under priced compared to competitors. They do not sell many (5% of total unit sales) Model S cars. Volume sales should start when Tesla releases the $25K model in a few years.

As was posted above VW plans to be in the EV game long term by coming to grips they are going to need to make their own power plants (batteries).

This was from about a month ago.

With the $7K rebate talk for USA for Fed tax paying folks may be putting a hold on sales for GM and Telsa cars in the mean time. Since the talk is about making it good for only 400K units for GM and Tesla so Tesla should blows through 400K units in 12-18 months which would not be helpful in my case.

Some of the EV look promising - rivian R1T, EV Hummer and a couple of the other pickup types. But the final price - out of my league. And then there is the infrastructure required to charge these vehicles.

I won't be buying one soon - I don't think I need a ludicrous luxury. Not at those projected prices ......
