Grapple for new L2501

Getting a new L2501 before months end.
Will be grapple ready.
What does everybody like for smaller grapples?

I see MTL grapples seem to be the price leader.
Everything Attachments and Landpride also out there.

I currently have a MTL and have been pleased with it. On my previous tractor (Mahindra 2625) I had a Wild Kat grapple for ten years with no problems.

The Bolt On Grapple Single BOG-Single and the Bolt On Grapple Dual BOG-Dual are designed to fit most tractor loader buckets with lift capacities up to 2,200.

Single lid at 143 pounds. It's pretty expensive new but I bought it used for $350, locally. You don't have to beef up your bucket like the thumb.

You got a good deal .Looking at a few the one that bolton to the bucket is almost the same price as a real grapple i will look around see what out there .

Actually,wife wants the "claw".
So I thought we'd get another tractor that she will use.
She won't go near my tractor-that's OK though.
Go figure!

I have this one on my L2501 and I've been completely satisfied because it functions well, nothing has broken or bent, it's only 275#, and $1,800. Subcompact Compact Tractor Wicked Root Grapple 50'' Single lid

They always seem to be backlogged, at least on everything I've ordered from them. I will say the the date they give is realistic if not a bit long if anything, everything I've ordered has shipped out a little ahead of schedule.

I have plenty of lift capacity on my tractor so grapple weight was not an issue. I got the MTL because it was cheap. Had it for two years, and mostly gets used for firewood processing and at deer camp to move trees/brush. If I was going to use a grapple a lot, I would get a better unit but I have absolutely no complaints with the MTL.

I looked at a bolt on unit for the FEL and it did not make sense for my needs. For a bit more, I had a dedicated grapple.
