Even I learned a thing or two in this video.

Thanks for sharing. I did watch the video. It caused me to do some self evaluation. I didn't realize a comment was expected. I especially liked the idea of loading without looking at your gun.

You have to admit the guy has that "pullrack" thing down to a science. I will freely admit I can't fire a pumpgun that fast.

My dad used to say my great uncle could unload 6 shots out of his pump and have all 8 birds picked up before he could shoot 5 times with his A5.

Interesting. The video is obviously for a shotgun for self defense. Techniques for hunting would be slightly different. You seldom lay down suppressive fire or can have five round in the magazine when hunting. Otherwise - important safety points are stressed.

Thanks for sharing James. The video brought out several good points, some I knew and some that I didn't (probably more that I didn't). Certainly worth the time to watch.

Have shot a few shotguns in my time; started out with a 410 single; then an old single shot 12 ga; then to a Browning auto 5; then a browning over/under; a Winchester model 12, a Remington 870, a Remington 1100, and another Model 12. I like the Model 12, it's a bit lighter, but never knew that there were techniques like shown in the video.

Now that is what I would call a "master class"... really enjoyed that.

Yeah, he seems to have things pretty well under control.
