I've been using folding box cutter knifes similar to this.

Just replace the blade when dull.

I just carry a compact Milwaukee foldable box cutter. I used to have a swiss army pocket knife I bought in Germany back in 1987, after losing the tweezers off of it I decided to safe keep it instead as its ooooooold now.

Knives of Alaska: Defender Suregrip

i have carried one of these for about 10 years, never before that did I carry the same knife for more than a year or so before switching it out. I have had quite a few, this one is my fav. super light, good steel, does not interfere with other things in the pocket.

Had one of these or a variant of it in my pocket since the 60's.

Looks just like my Cub Scout knife from the 50s. Except mine had a bear face emblem on it. :D

Yep, had one one of those in the 50's as well.

I carry a Benchmade mini-barrage in S30V steel. They're not cheap, but the assisted opening system is one of the best. I shared hunting camp with Warren Osborne, the designer of the mini-barrage, and I can't bring myself to carry anything else. I wish I had him customize one for each of my daughters, before he passed.

I actually have two different ones I carry, a blaze orange one as a daily carry (bright color so I can see where I put it down) and a tan one for when I dress up.

I quit clipping them in my pocket as I found the hem on an untucked shirt could sometimes pull it out of my pocket. I instead carry them in the bottom of my front pocket.

I still have both of my Cub Scout knives. :)

I'd carry it on my belt to school. The nuns would occasionally ask to borrow it to cut something or punch a hole in leather, etc... it was just normal. I was the only kid in my class in scouting and I was the only one carrying a knife that I can remember, all the way until my last two years in high school. And those weren't Cub Scout knives.

Many swear by OPINEL which is made in France.
High carbon steel blade with folding wood handle and does it keep a fine edge.
Affordable as well.

Google should find them easily.
