That was also the summer he was teaching me how to shoot a long bow. So we set up a stack of haybales and put one of the horse feed bags on the front for a target. He told me to aim for the horse picture on the bag, and eventually I hit the picture. The owner didn't see us do all of this, and later we tell the owner that he was teaching me to shoot the bow and she says, "well how did you do?" I excitedly say, "I hit the horse right in the chin!" She **** near fainted!!

Now THAT'S funny! Although I'm sure she wasn't laughing when you said it.

This one bridged when it fell so it gives me more time to get to it. Once they hit the ground here with our moisture they rot fast. I am overloaded with firewood as it is. I have not settled on how I am going to cut that one yet given how it sits. Ideas are welcome.

That will be an interesting one, as it appears to be sprung two ways. The first thing I will ask is that you move the dogs out of the danger zone. ;)

My story about horses, I was about 5-6 years old I was standing with my back side to a horse fence at my uncle's place next to our's and was watching my uncle do something, that part is hazy anyway this horse came up and clamped down on my shoulder, tell you what I was in pain! The SOB finally let go and my uncle came over seeing what happened stuck his cigar right into that horses nose . . . that was not enough for me I went to a burn pile and got me the biggest chunk of wood I could swing and I clobbered that d amn horse.

and for the rest of the story I had several daughters that just had to have horses.
That is the best story you ever told, love it:thumbsup: And what is it with girls/women and horses, I know of several.......

The chain come from Sweden, don稚 remember the brand name, their spike are around 3/4 long (see picture). Their clearance and the fact that fenders are in real steel (not plastic like on some compact tractor) was one of the reason I choice this tractor. This chain are essentiel for my need. The winch is a small Krpan, it think it痴 the largest manufacturer of forestry winch in the world (I知 not sure about this!). It痴 not a big one (7000pound) but come with around 250 of cable, this I like!

Not being well versed in the ways of the forest anything unfamiliar results in a call to my tree guy in Shelton...

You should take that tree to a boat yard, as crooked as that tree is it would make a nice bow on on a sailing ship..... I cant remember if you have a pto winch or not, if not you need to borrow a two prop helicopter from a neighbor to get it out......
