Good morning to all! Low of 23, going up to 46 today... last day of warmer temps. Tomorrow's high expected to be only 35 and windy. Maybe a few flurries.

Drew, excellent philosophy!.... happiness is within us all, just a matter of finding it and letting it out!

Popgadget, nice progress on the speaker boxes.

I was able to start on the table saw restoration yesterday after making a run for some materials. Apparently I had used up all of my "rust restore" paint. I was going to do the underside of the cast iron top, that doesn't need to be perfect. I will sand and polish the topside. Surprised that I found a drive belt in stock for $10. A new 220v plug was needed, man did they get pricey! ... the cheapest I could find was $18.

RNG, no, not a Delta.... I wish!.... It is a Shopcraft Commercial saw, made by the Benchmark Tool Co. in Missouri. They are out of business, but surprisingly, I just saw a few of these saws up for auction....

Here is a few "before" pics. Hopefully, I will have some "after" pics tomorrow.....

I can't remember if I posted the pic of the trinket box for my grandson after it was finished..... too lazy to look back... so here are a couple of pics....

Wifey is baking cookies, so time for me to get out of her way! I'll check on her later and do some QI :licking::thumbsup:

Everyone have a great day!

66°F and .49 inches rain. A little drier.

Expect to get my 2 branch waterlines glued in and a hose bib modified. Once the valves are glued in I can actually work on the lines themselves. One line will service the caretaker unit, the second is to service the tractorshed and be a permanent connection to the line running between house and cottage that services garden area. That line will include a longed planned connection for a washing machine (cold only). Hose bib will service the hose reel that had to be moved for the caretaker unit work. Likely enough to keep me busy as that second line will involve significant ladder work.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Bird - did you check your filter in the washer? ours had a washable mask in it, made a small mess and would not let tub drain. Easy but wet removal.

Ken, that's one I never heard of. If it's got a filter, I never knew it. The washer (and dryer) are about 12 years old and there's no problem with it draining normally. However, the Sears man is supposed to be here sometime in the next 3 hours. I still have a service policy with Sears that doesn't expire for another couple of months.

Drew. Great view point 🤙🤙🤙. Took me awhile to realize that I had control off my attitude toward whatever was happening and my attitude was key to my happiness.

Ken, Volcano activity currently within the caldera, the most external effect being air quality.

Doesn’t come across on the national news, but locally, Pele’s return is taken as a positive. I think given this past year, we sense something of a return to normal.
Strange, I know, but true.

37 going to 53, but winds up to 25.

Nice clear sky when I first went outside this morning. Inspired by Sophie's pic, saw the International Space Station pass by...their website has good info and maps for tracking.

Rick, I also had that plastic radiator overflow cap recall. Kubota must be really obsessed with getting it fixed. First I heard of it was receiving a Fedex package with a new one in the box and a nice 3 page color photos/instructions back in November, 2018 direct from Kubota. Then, months later I got a phone call from the dealer telling me about it, and confirmed that I had replaced it, and that I inspected my old one, which was perfectly fine. Then this past August I received a $6.95 certified-return-receipt-required letter from the dealer. During this almost 2 year period, I had been into the dealer several times buying filters, etc. but no one mentioned it. When the service manager called a few weeks after I got the letter, I told him all of this and that they could have saved the 7 bux and a lot of trouble by just having recalls entered into their system...they sold me both my Kubotas, and know everything I've ever bought for them, etc...seems a recall status in the system would be easy, right BEF? He agreed and said Kubota was really pushing on this but they will check me off.

I haven’t heard of a recall on any of my kubota’s.

RNG, for the most part iphone is usually in my pocket if out and about without the wallet portion. I do try to remember to remove if in a rear pocket and I値l be sitting or any pocket if I知 crawling around doing something that potentially damaging. I値l just place it where I hope I can hear it should Sophie text, but to be honest with my iwatch that usually alerts me so no biggie if phone is sitting in a safe spot.

My wife and I have iPhones but she is always 'misplacing' her one. So now I set it to ring mine when hers rings so we have a good chance of catching the call. We don't carry them unless we go shopping etc.
The other day I was at the chemist and she was supposed to have rung in an order so I could pick it up on my way home from the club but she hadn't rung through. The chemist tried to ring her and then I tried and no answer. When I got home I asked why she hadn't placed the order.
She said " because you must have had my phone and I can't find it"
So... I rang her phone and her handbag rang. I looked in it and there was her phone in plain sight. She said, " But I looked in there twice!" I think she needs a iWatch too. :)
