Plans for today... starting around 9am or least temps in teens start cleaning snow from all the roofs,snow blow paths etc.,make fuel run,doubt very much Kubota will see action today.

Dinking first cup of coffee. 25° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 35° with some sun to brighten up the day. Got my last grocery shopping done for this year. Still doing manual cycling of furnace. But I am warm. Service guy is coming out again today. I have a home warranty. So what ever it cost to repair is on them. Starting to look like PC board. Sassy is suppose to get groomed today. Hope I can get her to groomer after furnace guy is done. Fill bird feeders back up today. No other plans.

Buppies, not enough snow here to hardly even get my shovel out so far this year. I want to get out a plow snow. My turn will come.

Randy, good news on Dr visit.

David, glad you got fresh beer.

Mostly, got my nap yesterday. 4:30 until 7:30. Missed dinner and screwed up my night sleep.

30 heading to 40 today. Ventured out yesterday for supplies, it was magical. Ice and Sun on countryside is spectacular. Lots of downed trees though. I tried my best to take some shots of the back forty when I got back but just could not capture the moment. So I just took it all in for a while.

32 going to 43...was fun out on our morning walk to get snowed on this morning...not sticking to the ground, just the truck.

I enjoyed you snow pix and snow removal stories. I rarely need to use the tractor, like Buppies, would like a few turns.

Ron, great red-belly pic...sounds like you had more of an afternoon sleep than a nap.

Alien, sorry those nasty Americans got your country sick. Just heard 1 in every 20 Americans have/had the C virus...17 million. Next time I'm in the store, I'll look around and count 20 and know the risks.

Had a good hike yesterday in the battlefield forest park...lots of washed out trails from the repeated rain storms but no problems getting to the river, which was swollen over its banks.

Good Morning. Its 20 degrees with a forecast high of 35 today.

Yesterday’s snow removal went well considering the density of the snow. Afternoon sun induced melt made for some serious black ice when the sun set. I nearly re-enacted one of those scenes from Home Alone, but somehow stayed on my feet.

House smelled great from wife’s holiday baking, I accomplished nothing other than snow removal for the day. Today I will be back in the shop, gluing up the speaker and continuing the cleanup.

Endocrinologist said I could halve my dose of cortisone due to recent labs. I don't have a lot of faith in the guy, i'm constantly chasing
him down for answers, reactive not proactive. Waiting for results of brain mri. Have some hormone issues I wish they would diagnose
better. Testosterone is borderline low. Shoveling that snow yesterday is catching up with me today, pretty stiff and sore.
Walk it off as they say.
But I'm here and all is well with the world. 6 months ago I wasn't sure so counting my blessings.

How does the home warranty work? Do you pay the contractors or do they deal with the warranty company directly? If it’s up to them, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of service providers don’t want to get involved.

Afternoon sun induced melt made for some serious black ice when the sun set.

was very pleased with performance of Safe Paws ice melt on front walkway. All moisture gone, dry flagstone,
now to use leaf blower to blow off few remaining blue pellets out to driveway so I don't track them inside.
