To both you gents with new cabs... Hop in your tractors with the dryer clothes and boots you can. When windows fog up and freeze on the inside glass, it's tough to see. My tractor takes a long time to clear that, even with AC drying The air.
thats weird, mine doesnt. Occasionally i get some fog, i can either crack a side window or hit the ac compressor while in heat mode.

My buddy's Kabota, with factory cab, does very well with AC vents everywhere. My JCB (more Construction then Ag) has factory cab but doesn't do nearly as well to quickly keep the inside windows clear.

Snow accumulations have about doubled since yesterdays forecast. The airline keeps 'drifting' upward

Not a picture of a snow weapon.....but paints a funny picture

On a bitterly cold winter morning a Scottish husband and wife in Glasgow were
listening to the radio during breakfast. They heard the announcer say, "We
are going to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today. You must park your car on
the even-numbered side of the street, so the snow ploughs can get through.
"So the good wife went out and moved her car.

A week later while they are eating breakfast again, the radio announcer
said, "We are expecting 10 to 12 inches of snow today. You must park your
car on the odd-numbered side of the street, so the snow ploughs can get
through. "The good wife went out and moved her car again.

The next week they are again having breakfast, when the radio announcer
says, "We are expecting 12 to 14 inches of snow today. You must park...."
Then the electric power went out. The good wife was very upset, and with a
worried look on her face she said, "I don't know what to do. Which side of
the street do I need to park on so the snow ploughs can get through?"

Then with the love and understanding in his voice that all men who are
married exhibit, the husband replied,

"Why don't you just leave the car in the garage this time."

I didn't see it coming either!

Yup it’s clipped (double checked it) the wire tires just hold the excess.

Next time your chains are off, cut off some of the extra length so they fit your tires. Then you won't need to have to try to take up all the excess slack with bungee cords and spring gizmos.
Tire chains are sold as a few sizes fit all tires. In so doing, many chains are just too big to fit well and need to be trimmed back.. some by quite a bit.

I think you will like them MoBetter when they fit.. ;)

Problem with cutting chains.... new tires may be different size. I just had this with my front tires. I switched from my old Titen tires to carlisle tires. Same size marked on side of tires. The new tires are alot beefier than the old ones and i had to let out my chains this year. Im GLAD i never removed unused links. I just tie up the slack.
