What are you hoping for or asking for Christmas?

Year after year the wife and daughter yammer at me for what I want for Christmas. Year after year I say nothing.
Year after year they buy me the most stupid useless gifts imaginable.

So what are you all asking for on Christmas?

Wife bought herself a new laptop, I bought myself a new knife sharpener. We do not do the guessing, thing. I know it is not as festive, but it is not wasteful, we get what we want and need. Kids get cash. We do get some useless things from extended family but not much

Yes, that would be nice. We have no kids and there is no gift giving for the holiday as we buy when we need it.

All in all, things are pretty peaceful. Theres very little war, soldiers or citizens dying in conflicts between nations. Im pretty pleased at how peaceful the world is. If we didn稚 have the virus, it would be a wonderful time.

I'm not so sure about that...we're split right down the middle politically, and neither side wants to have anything to do with anything the other side has to say. I would say I'd like to see all this stupid partisanship go away, and we all work together to make this world a better place.

I am speaking more about violence in the world, wars between nations, etc.
I think we can all agree the Middle East is in a very peaceful state lately and getting better all the time. Terrorism is on the run and people are finally realizing what works. Reward good behavior, punish bad behavior. It just makes sense.
Weve ALWAYS been politically divided. Look all the way back to the days of Abraham Lincoln, the late 1960’s and the riots this summer..
