420 lbs of tile and 100 lbs of thinnest mortar unloaded from the van.

Sadly, one of the tires on the two-wheeler deflated on the first load by the time I made it 12' to the front door ... and I had to move all the rest of it by hand. It's now sitting at the front door while I recover.

Moved the thinset into the garage.

Question on that: the two bags of thinset seem real stiff ... almost like maybe they drew moisture and set up ... though the bags don't look like they have gotten wet per se.

Anything to be concerned about ?

On another note, I checked the tracking on the toilet, says UPS delivered to the store today at 12:04 PM ... and that they are "preparing it for pickup" ... and it will be ready for pick up by ... wait for it ... December 16th.

What the ... ?

:confused2:

Rip, around here the saying is if you last 5 years, good chance you’ll stay. Many, many don’t. Top 2 reasons being too far from family and medical. Parttime would likely negate both.

The B-25 Panchito has been flying in out of the airport most of the day, must be selling rides, they do that a few times a year. South winds so they are taking off over my back property, love to watch those old birds, and no mistaking those big radials roaring!

Ron, our transfer station has what we call a “Give &Take” tent, there is a book area. Sophie has been exchanging books there for years.

Like you and Drew, very aware of changes. Wear my mask, social distance, but you never know.

I suspect it may be quite awhile before Covid vaccination is available individually at Dr ofc. I see more mass type vaccination initially.

The downspouts are just temporary. I still have some roofing panels and plan to use to extend the lanai cover, but will be on a different plane that I haven’t worked out yet.

Rip, there are a couple of things you should know

A) Almost everything costs more.

B) Friends who live on a continent fall about laughing when you tell them how many miles you covered on a "long drive". :)

LOL
For us Costco is on otherside of the island, 90 mile trip one way - been twice this year.
Been a couple years since we drove completely around the island.

My 2019 Ridgeline just passed 5900 miles this morning. The 2016 Pilot has just over 11k.

Yeah ... that's totally gross.

One the one hand, ya have to allow for it being the fault of an unwilling/uncooperative/bad attitude employee ...

OTOH, welcome to Corporate America ... where policies from on high have made employees disinclined to take the initiative to make things right for customers ... assuming they even can, without having a manager override code or something.

I'm pretty sure there aren't very many better ways to lose a customer - perhaps permanently - that to fail to deliver on something one has committed to.

Me and Marks Workwear up here are having that battle right now. I have the Company I work for on my side as they issued the purchase order for the coat.

BEF, you should have one tractor for every implement. :D
t.

My old neighbor east of me did that, he didn’t like changing implements. Not sure what happened to him. only talked to him a couple times. Guy south of me bought his farm for over$1M. Both had more money then they know what to do with.

Well, the predicted snow is back up to 3-6 inches and we actually have a severe weather alert for Saturday morning to Sunday morning...the track of the storm is still uncertain so it could be more...or less. I'd be fine with more!
Doubt I do any work tomorrow (other then the usual Saturday chores...and stash my "summer tires"). If any tractor/snow blowing, it'll be Sunday
