Good morning all

32 now high around 40 with some sun early and showers later this afternoon. We got a little more than an inch of rain the other day, every little bit helps.

Got some sad news yesterday, BIL passed Monday morning after a stroke. I’m going to miss him dearly we were close.

No plans for today just putter around may take the loader off and put the plow on just in case!

Stay safe and healthy
Enjoy your day everyone

Sorry about your BIL.

My Dad was the most proficient squirrel hunter I ever knew. When I was old enough to get my first .22 rifle, we'd walk on opposite sides of the creek and he'd find and shoot 6 squirrels to my 1 every time. And yep, we ate every squirrel we could find. Did you skin them out right over the head, too? When the head skinned and thoroughly washed and fried, the tongue and cheeks were good eating, and the brains were good eating.

Dad had nails on the side of the barn where he would skin the squirrels. Yep, taste like chicken, had my fill of them.

My training session at work went well.

Demos we were rushing to get ready for next week got postponed till January, so that works out.

New geo flow center came, got it down to basement but not installed. New wiring configuration, plastic box instead of metal.

Drained more water from old water heater, then got it moved outside. Going to crush with grapple.

Made quick Costco run after work since I needed gas. Still $1.89, most other stations $2.23.

Don, looks like washing brush.

Productive day in the shop, got the next set of planks all glued up. Tomorrow, I should be able to start planing them and get them cut to size. Depends on how warm I can get the shop, tonight's low is forecasted to be a cold 7 degrees.... the next town over ( about 12 miles as the crow flies ) is forecasted for -1 degrees.....

Drew, I am wondering what you are using for a heater in the garage.... 30lb propane should last a while. I use one of the tank top "Mr Heater" burner type on a 20 pounder. I get about 20 hours of burn time on high....
And also curious as to why there were 2 electric meters in the pic of your generator plug.....

Ended up with about 3" of snow total, the sun came out this afternoon and melted it down to about an inch. All is good... didn't have to shovel anything. I'm glad that I didn't go into town.... they had to shut down the freeway (I-40) up here in the mountains because of 15 semi-truck accidents, a couple of which spilled all their contents onto the roadway. That created a 10 mile long traffic jam....

Pellet stove is keeping us toasty warm.... outside temp is currently 15....
