Still have it

A friend sold me his Husky similar to this

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-9-Amp-Corded-7-in-Wet-Tile-Saw-with-Stand-R4031S/307346631

This is what I used for all the work here as I used larger tiles that were too big for old saw.

That RIGID one was in the four saw YT shootout I watched ... along with a Delta Cruzer and another even higher priced saw.

The fact that it comes with a stand (the comparable HF unit doesn't), 1/4 HP larger motor, and qualifies for the Lifetime RIGID Warranty are attractive features. Plus it's about $30 cheaper than the comparable HF.

Might have to watch that shootout again ...

How are you getting to locast? SmartTV or is Roku offering that now too?

Hard to stay on top of all the "cord cutter" options! LOL.

You’re right about that! I’m getting the Baltimore market Locast and streaming local channels from their sites.

Yeah, no ... wrong saw.

Saw the RIGID on a different video ... had them confused ... same color, different saw ...

thanks RS, the single slope roof is a lot easier to build.

looks like shipping in general is going to be a real problem shortly:

United Parcel Service Inc. imposed shipping restrictions on some large retailers such as Gap Inc. and Nike Inc. this week, an early sign that the pandemic-fueled online shopping season is stretching delivery networks to their limits.

The delivery giant on Cyber Monday notified drivers across the U.S. to stop picking up packages at six retailers, including L.L. Bean Inc., Hot To
pic Inc., Newegg Inc. and Macy's Inc., according to an internal message viewed by The Wall Street Journal and confirmed by UPS workers in different regions. "No exceptions," the message said.

Good morning all

32 now high around 40 with some sun early and showers later this afternoon. We got a little more than an inch of rain the other day, every little bit helps.

Got some sad news yesterday, BIL passed Monday morning after a stroke. I’m going to miss him dearly we were close.

No plans for today just putter around may take the loader off and put the plow on just in case!

Stay safe and healthy
Enjoy your day everyone

Sorry for your brother in law’s loss.

decided to get some weed trimming done before it got hot.
Filled the trimmer and started it up. Always has started great but this time just above idle and very quiet. Couldn't rev it at all and then I twigged what was happening. Mud wasps had filled my muffler with clay again. Darn things. Poked a stick in the exhaust and out crumbled all this clay.
Once it was cleaned she ran like a beauty again. Job done.

Just yesterday my wife and I were watching the wasps collecting mud from where she had watered the garden and I remarked that they were probably heading for my shed to fill up every little hole they could find. Seems I was right. What else have they done? Better check my compressor and air hoses again.....
Last week I took a R/C model aeroplane out to the club and flew it. When it landed it was rattling. I took the wing off and all these mud wasp nest fell out. Mongrels.

When I stayed with my grand parents during the summer (50+ years ago) we would have squirrel for lunch. Grandma would fry it up. Taste like chicken only smaller - especially the drumsticks. Just think chicken when you eat it and not rat.

My Dad was the most proficient squirrel hunter I ever knew. When I was old enough to get my first .22 rifle, we'd walk on opposite sides of the creek and he'd find and shoot 6 squirrels to my 1 every time. And yep, we ate every squirrel we could find. Did you skin them out right over the head, too? When the head skinned and thoroughly washed and fried, the tongue and cheeks were good eating, and the brains were good eating.

28 this morning, 35 now and breezy, 39 overnight they say.

Great pics of birds, moon over palms , deer in the snow and all the rest, you guys sure get some nice snaps.

I did absolutely nothing today except cook supper.

FaceTimed with mom today but she wasn’t very alert. I’m afraid her time is short. But she’s four months shy of 98, and she has led a remarkable life.
She’s done more after 50 than most people do their entire lives. She’s plowed mules, built barns, tuned up cars, put on convertible tops, could measure, cut and sew literally anything from a pair of shorts to Victorian window treatments. She became the go to interior designer in this area for over thirty years with no formal training. She designed all the things in Spiro Agnew’s condo as well as countless houses, condos and offices for Frank and Mitzi Perdue as well as many others. Then helped build it all.
My mom is an amazing lady and I only wish I had half her talents.

Good morning. It’s 33 and forecast to be mixed clouds and sun today with no rain. Supposed to be breezy with 25kt winds.

Won’t get much done here today, as I’ve got to go to south Florida. Looking forward to lunch and some Key Lime pie over the Atlantic on the way home though.

Buckeye, glad you got your new unit installed, it’s easy to miss heat and hot water. Usually with a geo unit connected to make hot water there is still another heat source in the loop to make hot water when the demand exceeds the capacity. Does yours make 100 percent of the hot water?

2 separate issues.

I have not yet hooked up my geo desuper to have the geo supply hot water.

The geo loop pump went out, new flow center came today.
