If erosion does start, I think the op has plenty of experience draining the lake down.....

This project has exceeded anything I envisioned in the beginning.
I could be wrong, but I suspect that it exceeds anything the OP envisioned in the beginning. It sure has been an interesting project to follow, and probably was/is even more interesting to build. :thumbsup:
Muskrats... another good reason to have that dam built at a walkable angle so you can set traps in the deep runs if needed.
2020-11-26_11-30-31Checked the pond before heading out of town until Monday. Ground should be ready to work when I get back. A little bit of water from the rain but not much so should be able to just drain with my 2" trash pump on Monday.

Yeah, that doesn't look as bad as I feared. We got 2" of rain here. Raised my ponds a bit.
Awesome Jeremy. Weather looks dry for the next ten days. Problem is it simply doesn't dry now. I figure I'm done moving dirt with the road grader for the year. Hope it works out for you to finish!!!
