In all fairness, no interior door is any better. It took Dori an hour or 2 to do this & its a plywood door, which is beefier than the modern heavy cardboard doors.

My previous lab once clawed through a layer of sheet rock, fiberglass insulation and the outside layer of OSB. The only reason she didn't get out was because she did it right next to the door, and the studs were too close together for her to fit through. She did NOT like being confined.

My dog dug at the sliding door, unlocked it and almost pulled it all the way out of the rails. He was lounging in the back yard when i got home.

Something rolling around inside unsecured i assume? Hitting something low hanging would have trashed the back as well as the front.
