The last big oak log on deck, cant do these on manual mill without help from someone or something. After cleaning the birdshot and sarwing through buckshot, ended up with a nice beam......

Seen just as many Rancheros as El Camino growing up...

Neighbor owned a Shell Station and always drove Ranchero... I almost bought a 1957 as a project.

I did own 1980 El Camino... Good Ride, Comfortable, 305 V8... popular with shop owners... a car with utility.

Downside with mine is too small for sheet goods like plywood.

Somewhere I have a picture with it overloaded with firewood... had to top off the air shocks to level the load.

No teasing allowed........

It's got very expensive and difficult to get in at the moment. Borders are closed You need to be a returning New Zealander or someone with special skills. You need to have a booking for 14 days in a special isolation hotel (about $4K). No booking, no get on the plane. Once here and 2 negative tests the only restrictions are mask wearing compulsory on public transport in Auckland and on Internal flights. Once through that.....nothing...

Thats the same everywhere, the problem is finding a mask that wont fog glasses up and then coming up with 3k that I dont mind blowing on a trip, yeah that will never happen........

A hacked together bin for wood using 3 pallets. Much nicer for carrying wood from the barn to the house. I just leave the bin in the garage at the house until it is empty and then take it back to the barn to refill.

Well I never seen a Ford Ranchero and they just dont ring my bell even though they been around since 57 so I had to go to the video library and watch some videos. I seen several El Caminos and Subaru Brats, and out of those three I'd pick the Subaru Brat because all wheel drive is all I'll drive, to me a Ford and Chevy pickup car is just wrong unless they follow Subaru........

Now if Ford could would make this 57 Ranchero again today and make it all wheel drive with hi-lo range, a bit more ground clearance, toe package, power windows/mirrors, intermittent wipers, stereo radio with tape deck, coffee cup holders, cig lighter for memorabilia and all for 20k or less yup I'd buy one today......

You are going to give away your true age if you keep asking for all those modern features. No one will believe you are Oldpath.

Thanks for posting... my first car and I still have it is a 1957 Ford Custom 300... I could load up 8 people no problem and used it to tow a ski outboard to the lake...

The mileage maker 6 returned honest 20+ mpg and power was not an issue...

But... every time I saw a 57 Ranchero I thought what if I could make a swap...

We have no for masks at the hospital and the only difference is across the top is a peel and stick adhesive strip... in essence glued to the skin.

Similar can be had with medical tape over a regular mask...

Some find the no fog great and others uncomfortable.

I go through boxes each morning... especially for ophthalmology patients because they minimize fogging the microscope...

The N95 also do a good job but the ties put a lot more pressure on the face... also can be an issue when wearing all day...
