We lived in NJ when I was four. Had green card. Always wondered how my life would have gone, if we had stayed there.

Watched Primal on Leftflicks last weekend, with Nic Cage. Certainly not the worst movie we have seen lately. OK entertainment I guess. Producers totally ignored any common aspects of naval architecture though.

Richard: I thought all kinds of them swore to leave four years ago. . . and apparently didn't. lol

Since Christmas isn't the far away...the 1951 version of "A Christmas Carol" (called "Scrooge" in the UK) is the best version of this Charles Dickens novel. It starred Alistair Sims as Scrooge...best version ever.
It's on YouTube if you want to watch or record it

I never really cared for the MASH show that much, the biggest quirk I have against the show is Hawkeye, he's from ME and wont shoot a gun to save his soul, one of these days I'm going down to Crabapple Cove and give him a piece of my mind but after he first does my back operation. The final 4077th movie is on again tomorrow night at 7pm, incase you missed it 40 years ago.>>> 8.2 meTV>>> What's On MeTV?

I loved watching re-runs of that show in the 90s. Too bad there weren't more episodes with Col Flag (CIA) and that Shrink Dr. Freidman. They were great.

Saddest one, when Henry Blake got killed on his trip home. The cast wasn't told of that twist when it was filmed.

Funniest one, I recall when Charles was having that one upmans-ship with the guy who turned out to be a buttler, or the episode where everyone is wheeling and dealing and at the end it all comes unravelled.

Great movie, maybe the the first R rated I ever saw. Originally it was a short novel.

Trivia question, which of the actors in the movie became a main cast member in the TV show?

I never liked the show because I thought it was a lame abstraction of the movie...the ONLY actor that I thought was actually funny was McLean Stevenson...the rest of the cast (including the main characters) were a bunch of hams...!

IMO the only thing that kept the show on the air for more than the first season was the writing...

No offense to anyone but I have always judged the general intelligence of the public by what is popular on television...and I'm sorry to say it just keeps getting worse and worse...!

My current peeve with lame shows is the extremely crappy 'Oak Island' saga...there may be some facts behind the pretense but the show is just plain stupid...the two stupidest goofs are the brother with whiskers and the imbecile limey with the metal detector...!
Anyone interested can catch up on an entire season by watching the first 5 minutes...and you really don't even have to watch the goofy show to find out if they ever find anything...if anything really worthwhile turns up it will show up on the mainstream news first...

Honestly I think the only reason the show has made it this long is odds are someone else is bound to die (likely of old age) so they can claim it's the "Curse"...!

You should see what an imbecile GERMAN with a metal detector looks like.

I actually didn't like the MASH movie much. Funny, because I often scoff at popular opinion, like a friend that watched MASH when it first aired, only to warm up to it much, much later. Could I suggest that I then watch it because I like it and not just because everyone is watching it?

LoL...if a plane did not crash into the Pentagon...I'm still wondering where all those 757 parts that were removed from the building came from...???

After seeing previews of the show, I did a search on Oak Island and found out all that I need to know. Did pirates really dig have the technology to dig a hole 400 feet deep, well beneath the water table, to bury their treasure?

I'm going back to watching conspiracy theories. I know the moon landing was faked because my friend's ex brother-in-law's father's coworker has an estranged cousin who saw them filming in the desert outside Vegas... and even has one of the cactus they had to pull up to make it look like the lunar landscape.
