You can look down on others and yourself as well. Can't fix stuff if you don't understand what's what. Our society has a lot of elephants in the room.

I have never thought of myself as a city person or a country person though I will admit I would much rather live in the country than in the city. Since I am close to a city I considered myself a suburbanite. Here is a screenshot of the area I live in. Would you consider it country or city?

City.

It always feels good to look down on a group of people, it make you feel so much better about yourself.

Listen I didnt do it because I look down on anyone. I said that because, as much as it hurts your feelings, its absolutely correct!
Its just math and statistics. Look up the crime per capita, cost to insure per capita, school grades comparisons. And by the way, man your city schools SUCK.
And why oh why, do people who do the right things out in the country have to see our tax money go to extra law enforcement and many other expenses caused by cityiots?

You can ignore the stupid things you do and dwell on the stupid things others do.

I dont ignore stupid things I do. Stop putting words in my mouth.
" dwell " ? really? I make one or 2 comments which are based in fact and I " dwell "?
Tell you what I dwell on: My love for my family God and country. Raising children who are successful and obey the law. Giving thanks to God for every day. Taking care of my wife. Taking care of my customers. THATS what I dwell on.

Sounds like the truth hurts you my friend.

I don't know what it is about country people. They seem to have (almost) zero interest shooting each other every night! lol Maybe all that fresh air and hard work, leaves them little energy.

Not very nice for someone (or their kids) to look out their window and see some old man peeing! lol

I wonder how many windows you can see from your porch and how many young faces you see staring out them. Need a bigger property? :D

Out here we teach kids how to go discreetly outdoors vs tracking mud, bugs, and leaf litter into the house.

Funny how a dog always seems to look for an audience when it goes on the lawn.

Cities are great places to visit. I worked in Memphis for 8 years after college. I commuted for those years until I was able to get a good job in my home town. Now I am five minutes from work and live in a family friendly town. I did take a pay cut to leave my city job but over twenty years later I don’t have any regrets.

You couldn't pay me enough to move to Memphis. My regional manager tried. They've had issues with staffing that location with quality help. Anyone local worth a hoot is working for the refinery or one of the other plants. And once someone thinking about transferring visits the area, the answer turns into a "He*l no!!!! I won't go!!!!"

And here we are... At each others throats, because you... me... one of us... or most of ya'll is from the city, or suburbs ( God forbid still too close to the city), on the edge of rural (but can still see neighbors), or in bum^&*$ country where banjo music waffles through the trees at night. Really? Now I have to add this to my list of allowing, or eliminating friends based on where they live and the population density? Count me out guys... I don't really give a @&^% where any of you live.
