I have been contemplating mirrors for quite a while... finally ordered some Jeep " doors off" style mirrors and received them this week. I was originally going to mount them with magnets, but decided to put them up high on the canopy. Worked out better than I expected!

I saw this "poor man's" air ride somewhere, but thought.... "why not---- it's only $5", I'll give it a try..... IT ACTUALLY WORKS!:D

That's what I did when my dump truck seats needed a cheap fix. My dog always brought home soccer and basketballs. Long after he was put down, I deflated a basketball under each seat and filled it up with a football needle. About half full was just the right ride cushion.

Nice mods with the mirrors. You got me on the poor man's air-ride seat, I was thinking frijoles and beer!

At first I grabbed a soccer ball, but thought it might be too big.... then I saw the mini basketball! That's about 3/4 full.

It is definitely trial and error on ball size. Booger had all different size basketballs and soccer balls accumulated. Even a football. The B ball worked the best. His left over balls are sitting by his grave's cross.

That has to be hard.... I wouldn't be able to see my Furry friends toys by their final resting place.

I might go and get a full size b-ball and try it. The little one is ok, but I can still bottom out the seat on a big bump. If I pump it up more, then it gets too hard. A bigger one will have more area to smoosh out....

I tried the mirrors on my Kubota canopy, but the vibration made then useless. Hope yours works better

They vibrate a bit, well a fairly good amount at around 15-1600 rpm. Above that, they really smooth out. Of course, over bumps they bounce a bit, but I'm not really using them at that time.

Heck, Booger had about 8 balls. He still have 3 at his grave. Here he is attacking a full size B ball.10-15-07 Booger playing with his ball.jpg
