I started moving some dry firewood up closer to my house,

Then I cleaned up the white oak slab wood that was laying around my BSM,

it up over the top of one of the boxes that I just moved.

With my now "all fixed up" Husqvarna 550xp, I used it and I forgot what a screamer it is! AND with a sharp chain how it really kicks-azz!

I really like that saw now that I put a 16" bar on it with 3/8" chain, it has good power for a small saw, and is easy on the back.

I also managed to pick the last of the tomatoes too... AND now it's about time to

View attachment 673453 doesn稚 hold as much as a pickup but the precision in which I can get it to the wood shed is a lot better :)

Add some clamp-on folks with a few boards on and you'll increase the bucket load of firewood, amazing what a little wash and wax will do for making a tractor look new again.......

My neighbor put a 3/8 inch on his 550 also, and his results were the same as what SR describes. I believe that he stuck with the 18" bar though.

The frogs said to little to late.........

The problem also could be on my end though, I need to bury/hook up a new wire to the pole.

Sounds good.. what brand /model do you have?

I have the HF Lynxx. It was not my first choice but I know an arborist who works for a municipality. He uses his a lot and loves it. I was going to get a Stihl until I saw him using the Lynxx and asked him about it. Not sure about long term use as I have not had it long and have not needed to sharpen the blade yet. So far it has been good enough for my needs, but I am a hobby user with only 20 acres to deal with. The gas saws get used for trees and bucking firewood.

Is everything at HF always on clearance? They have the Lynxx listed right now for 189.97. Is the battery detachable, or do you charge it in place?
