First job of the day was saw some more logs. Some of us have get 6" boards out of crooked bean poles while others take a 2' beam and make 2x4s, but thats ok popple aint no good for anything else anyways, got 3> 6"x 10' boards from that crooked bean pole....

That's coming along good. You and your son will appreciate it this winter, when the snow's coming down and you can keep it from blowing down your neck.

Yeah I see your point, those cheap 5> 10" boards placed side by side would totally throw you all off, buying plywood make way more sense and the only way to get the idea of flow around, gotta watch that flow around..........

The plywood was just sitting in the garage...

Yup big logs do roll over harder but I dont put big 2' wide logs into 2x4s either no wonder your buying plywood. Is the pitch all dried up down there, pine up here is still pitchy.

And why would you not cut it into 2x4s? Its not beam material being only 8'6" long. What would you do with it? Pine is always pitchy down here..

Why is a 2' beam only 8' long to begin with............ But is your pitch sticky, I'm getting it all over my gloves, arms, hands, clothes, hair, chainsaw, steering wheel.......
