Wow, 20bB! What does the mobley say now?

It was really crappy at -106 went to -83 dB. I haven’t tweeted the weboost yagi yet, just pointed in general tower direction.

Too expensive compared to other local options. I'm a VZ stockholder, not a customer. :p

Not available here.

Nor here. How does that work - if you can get cell phone reception in an area, why not internet?

I have unlimited and no throttling through a MVNO, the signal - Verizon. My cell plans - Verizon.

One would think this Home option would be available to me. Nope.

They appear to be very smart in how they plan their deployments. Smart as in keeping their pockets lined.

Does not make sense, right. Is only available now in select areas. I think more consumer pressure is needed.

Hey, it is Verizon. What do you expect.

My current signal is fluctuating at -119 to -121 dBm. This is on a ZTE Velocity hanging on the blinds in a window that faces opposite of the nearest tower. Status light has been blinking from green to amber for days. That usually indicates a new message which arrives avery month when the plan renews but I recently cleared that message.

My speed from Fast.com is 53ms 13 Mbps down and 1.1Mbps up from Miami. 500 miles south of me.

My daughter recently bought a Lenovo notebook through Verizon that has it's own phone number and unlimited data. Not sure what she pays for it.

Not available to me and I know we have widespread Verizon cell coverage in my area (central MN). I guess they don't want to offer it generally and must be targeting certain markets.

Try moving it away from the window. Contrary to what it seems, a window isn't great for electromagnetic signals. Most home windows have coatings for solar transmission reduction and that affects signal. By moving my Nighthawk M1 two feet to the side of the window it was sitting in (just against a bare exterior wall now) I went from regular speeds of 12-40Mb/s to now getting 40-120Mb/s.

Also, I've noticed in recent months that fast.com seems to be artificially lower than other speed test sites. I used to think it was a great gauge but not so much now. I wonder if that has something to do with the fact that fast.com is a test made by Netflix and intended for use in their customers' testing of connectivity? I've found speedof.me, speedtest.net and ATT's AT&T High Speed Internet Speed Test to be very consistent with each other and different from fast.com. For instance, just now I was getting 95-120Mb/s on the first three and 29Mb/s on fast.com.

Tried moving it and speed dropped to 9 down and nearly nothing up. Put it back on the blinds and it went back up to 13 down and about 1 up.

That AT&T link doesn't display results for me. tried it on Firefox and Chrome.

I ran the tests at fast and at speedtest.net and the results were the same.

I think the deal with the Netflix test is it supposedly mimics streaming content. The conspiracy theory was the providers were throttling streaming data while allowing faster web surfing data.

Not here either and I can see the Verizon tower from my property.

If you leave your ISP for a speed test then all bets are off. And if you are running the speed test from a wireless device then those results will be inconsistent and unreliable also

I’m using Verizon LTE as it says I have no coverage

Finally got my Mobley PUK codes. Now have the sim in my LB1121. Getting 6MB down, 5 UP

Now the question is, since I changed the pin using the PUK, can it be used back in the mobley?
