Bought some relatively cheap golf cart mirrors and some magnets from CMS magnetics. I didn't want something sticking out too far or too high.

Looks good . Well done .

I have a pair of utv mirrors that I am going to mount with some magnets in the same spot on my loader.
Procrastination may have gotten in the way . :D

Looks good. Are you relying solely on the magnets or have you used an adhesive?

I ask because simple diesel engine vibration would cause the magnets to shift over time.

If the mirrors vibrate they will be worse than useless! Found that out with my Mule!

I wholly agree. When attaching anything to my tractor (mirror/fire extinguisher/light bar) I've always included a rubber gasket to eliminate overt vibration.

Let us know how they work for you, and where you got the mirrors. I've been wanting mirrors on my R4047 for a while.

They are pretty strong magnets (88 lb. Holding power each) I also bought some stronger ones (112 lb. Holding power each) if the smaller ones don't work. I'll let you know!

I think I got them either on eBay or Amazon, can't remember, was a few years ago.

I bought RARE earth magnest off E-Bay, Rubber Coated, threaded fastener, to hold a strobe light on a roof. They got the old large regular magnets beat all to heck for holding and a smaller size too.

This is a great Idea and can be moved if a specific application needs it. Very nice!

Rear earth magnets have incredible holding power. However, there is a lot of vibration and jerking so it needs to be field tested. I was thinking of getting a wireless backup camera for my tractor. They are relatively cheap. I would wire it so it's on when the tractor starts. My MT125 had a 12v socket. I'm pretty sure they didn't bother with that on the MT240. That makes an install a little messy.

1LL Golf Cart Mirrors Side Rear View Fits Club Car Ezgo Yamaha US STOCK | eBay

Search EBay for Golf Cart Mirrors, there's lots of them listed. I can't remember the exact ones I got.

I found the ones that look identical on Amazon. They had an extra wide version but went with the smaller version and I got the same magnets. I'll post when I get the backup camera installed. I just wish there was a 12v socket. I hate to rig power and then have something electrical happen. It would be easy for the dealer to deny a warranty claim if he wanted to be a jerk.
