2005 John Deere 110 tlb
I recently purchased a very clean, low-hour 2005 John Deere 110 tlb off my late cousin's estate (RIP). Unfortunately he wasn't around to answer some questions I had so I was hoping this forum could help out.

1) Did standard 3 point hitch arms coming from the factory with the unit? Or were these purely optional?
2) This TLB is plumbed to the front and already has a really nice scrap grapple installed. However, it is not plumbed to the rear. I think the front plumbing was considered factory-only. However, does anyone know if plumbing to the rear for a hydraulic thumb was a field option?..or was it also factory only? For reference purposes, the unit already has the electronic buttons on the bottom right side of the operators station that allow you to turn aux hydraulics on/off, and also cycle them continuously to the front or back.

Thanks for your help.

Did you get three point arms? Do you need three point arms? I have three point arms but have never removed the backhoe to need them.

Peter315 - thanks for your response. As it relates to the auxiliary hydraulics to the rear. I know they were optional. What I was trying to figure out is if they could be added in the field or not? For instance, they say the front aux hydraulics were a factory only option, not to be added in the field. I wasn't sure if the rear hydraulics were the same or not?

I have a very thick folder on that machine. NOT much came standard and the price added up in a hurry for extras.

The rear hydraulics were factory only, I looked into buying all the parts and it was well over $6k and this was a $2500 option from the factory. There have been a few threads in the past from folks who did their own custom options. Reach out to Brian from Fitrite hydraulics and he can set you up.

Matt - do you happen to know if its any cheaper if you already have the rear remote hydraulics? I didn’t think the unit had these (long story as to why) but it does. See pic below. If you have these does it make adding the remotes cheaper or easier or not really? 65D9AFE6-BD55-440B-B8CE-5BF180C243B9.jpeg

Hills, it seems you are misunderstanding the system just like I once did. By your picture in your last post it is obvious you already have rear hydraulics but that system is not used to operate a thumb. The thumb is operated by the backhoe hydraulics. For this you will need an additional seventh valve. This valve is added to the existing stack of six valves that control the backhoe movements. The valve is actuated through mechanical linkage by the left foot.

I bought most of the components from the dealer two years ago. As I recall the cost was about $1000. This did not include the actuating linkage as I plan to fabricate those.

Three piece - thanks for your input. To be a little more clear, I fully recognize the rear aux hydraulics for the backhoe and the remote hydraulics are separate. My question revolves around the point that there are certain options that needed to be in place from the factory for rear auxiliary hydraulics to be affordable. For example, there are cases where folks buy 110’s without the front aux hydraulics and when they try to add them its entirely cost prohibitive - this is why the front aux hydraulics were considered “factory” only. For the rear aux hydraulics I’m just wondering if there aren’t options (like front aux hydraulcis and rear remote hydraulics which I have) that make the rear aux hydraulics reasonable in price to add?
