MyRide System

It's on some of the commercial cutter forums. They are testing now.

I have a 21 year old Toro ZMaster 255 and due to its great longevity wish to stick with Toro so I'm going to wait. I have 2 farms and cut Dad's and Uncles grass. Need something softer on back.

Some Toro users are installing ZGlide torsion suspension forks on the front wheels. Even with MyRide. Looking for reviews and comments now to see how well they work. Price is right at $249 for a pair. SmartSelect_20200801-101856_Chrome.jpg

Big boy springs are the answer. When my order came, it only contained two springs, crap. Contacted the dealer, no problem, ordered the shorted item. No biggie, between lake and wait time, finally got aeound to installing them. Twenty minute job. Big difference in the ride, no more bottoming out, even on a softer setting. Should be an option when purchasing at minimal cost. Cost me $300 CDN. Happy camper.

I'm glad that worked out for you. Who sells the Big Boy springs?

Ordered from the selling dealer. No guesswork, warranty intact. Could have searched dor some motorcycle coil/shock units but not worth the hassle.

So, these are an actual Toro item?

I've been very happy with my Toro Titan I've got about 57 hours on it, and am putting it away for the winter.

The owners manual recommends disconnecting the battery for storage. I've never bothered with that on my previous machines and not had a problem, however I noticed that the hour meter on the Titan stays illuminated with the ignition switch off, and assumed that this may be enough of a current draw over the winter, to disconnect the battery. I was quite surprised to find that, even with the battery disconnected, the hour meter stays on. I assume it has its own battery, but if so, why?

Has it’s own battery, just like a watch will run a long time.

Thanks. I wonder why they did it that way.

So, how did your season go with yours? How many hours?

Kept forgetting to look. 13.6 hrs before the grass went dormant. Love the unit, looking forward to next year.

Subscribed to an old thread. I’ve been looking at ZT’s and the myride. At $4600 for the myride, my recent purchase is the best choice for the money. I had an hour meter installed and I have two hours on it. I really like it.

Surprised it didn’t come with an hour meter. What a silly thing to omit.

I love the my ride! I think I’m on my 4th year with my Timecutter hd. 127 hours so far. Definitely takes the jolts out. I opted for the “Big Boy” springs/shocks kit, which is even firmer, and I’m a big guy.

What engine and size deck? I’ve got the Toro(Loncin) and have no complaints about that either. Easy to service and remove the shroud for cooling fin cleaning.

Did my mom’s yard last week for the first time this year. Had the bagger on it, which was good because the grass was 8-10”. Had to go slower but it looked awesome when I was done. Had to dump it 4 times.

I have the Kawasaki 23 with 54” deck. I wanted the Kohler 25 but nobody had them in stock and the TSC 0% financing for 48 months was ending soon. I will look into the Big Boy spring kit.

What is the part number? Is it a 54/60/etc? My search indicates the spring kit is available for the Titan.

Did you find the part number for the Big Boy kit?? I have it on my Titan 60 inch. Could probably locate the invoice. Was $300 CDN when I bought.

I did see the part number and price but it seemed to be an option only for the Titan, so I did not pursue this since I don’t know if the two frames are the same.

Maybe I failed to grasp the fact that it does fit both types.
