Sorry. First time posting a video. Not sure how, but that wasn’t my intended video but it is the same buzz saw

Seems to cut a little faster than a chain saw. However you have to handle every piece . Though it still looks easier on the back.

I've done a lot of wood on one of those. The first saw was of the old flat belt type. It originally went on front of a Farmall, but my father put another set of legs on it and we ran it behind the 8N.
When he traded for his first Kubota back around 1978 he swapped the 8N and saw table, and got a newer table which ran directly off the PTO shaft. He cut many hundreds of cords of wood with that over the years; ours, my uncle's, his late friend's widow... when I helped I was the one taking wood off and throwing it into the dump truck.
I hated standing next to the business end of that blade. When he passed away that was the first thing that we got rid of.

How do you like the guards on this one

I didn't really see the side view but it looks a lot better than what we used to have. Of course back when that old Farmall was made nobody had ever heard of guards.

Do they have any with those Mitsubishi engines?
That Japa seems like a nice rig no doubt. Those conveyors are handy. Now if you could have one of those on the end of the buzz saw with some small 8 inch round, four foot long wood....

A wood conveyor has been on my build list for 25 years......

My son has cedar slabs for that if one can stand a deer stand, I'm a seek and find hunter, wood or deer..................

I used to do that a lot back when I had more property to hunt, with only 100 acres you tend to just push them off the property..

Theres still 2000+ acres around here to hunt on with very few No Trespassing signs. I use to do that to, just love taking my rifle for a walk and sometimes make 200 acre journey and spend 6hr, 3 days a week rain or shine, snow was a treat, but now its just 40 acres and one hour then I done for the morning, another round in the afternoon and I'm no longer a crack of dawn hunter either, more like a when ever I get around to it hunter, in good weather.............

I still do a little stalking but like I said with 100 acres its easy to push the deer off the property, and disturb them enough and they will shy away. When I was in Texas I ran a 1600 acre deer ranch and stalking was about the only way I hunted there unless I was tending to a guest or something..
