Yes old path. Not sure why this thing is writing in Chinese. But even at work on their computers it was doing the same thing so I think itç—´ a Newfoundland computer thing. Some Asian business probably got our towers bought up. , guaranteed thatç—´ what it is.

Generally people who get that gobbled-gook are posting with their phones. Somebody recently posted the setting which you can change to counter that, but I forgot what they said.

Suppose you could pull with the winch too?

The problem I have pulling myself back with PTO winch is I dont have a snatch block to route the cable low, so cable is pulling me down, so when you get a winch try to dicker in a snatch block from the dealer or know your ground.

Hey lumber selling gang ... 4 x 4 x 10, white oak, what would you charge?

Wish I had white oak, I have red oak and think my asking price would be around $.90 bd ft. but I'd first ask my son cause he keeps a price list next door.

Do you guys have a kiln, or is it green lumber?

Oh forgot that 2026 project, all fresh sawed stuff here, but I do like letting red oak and popple set for a year before sawing, oak so its a lttle lighter, popple so when it sawed is less likely to turn into banana wood, but dont like sawing popple anyways because it sticks no matter how long it sets.

I don't know what a board foot is or how to figure price from it. I was quoted $14 for a 4 x 4 x 10 white oak, just wondering if that's a good price. It would be fresh cut, less than two weeks from timber to post, so I'm a bit concerned about them staying straight. Also, what about Carpenter Bees getting into it?
