Had big hot blob of metal fall into my crocks a few weeks ago MIG WELDING. Burned the bottom of my foot. Man, that hurt. Yet the pain seems to be worth the convenience. Have a blob melted into the footbed, but didn't do a China Syndrome and come through the other side. lol

Crocs, "On The Clock" shipped. Eagerly waiting for UPS truck. I'm so EXCITED! My First E-Purchase. :cool2:

Growing up all real farmers wore bib overalls, boots and long sleeve shirts. Even in the summer. Got hot out time to roll the sleeves up. Amish around me now allowed to wear short sleeves.

Guess times change.

That's for sure. ISTR growing up in the 60s that men generally did not wear shorts or a T shirt in public. My father nor any of my friends' fathers ever did.
Look at old pictures from Woodstock...most, if not all of the guys were wearing long pants. Even jeans were considered work clothes and weren't generally worn elsewhere. Now it's all I wear in the summer unless I need long pants to protect my legs during some activity like weed-wacking or using a chainsaw.
Likewise, sneakers were strictly kids shoes.

In fact, most states discourage the use of flip flops and high heels when driving, but it's not illegal. Most studies I found say it's safer to drive barefoot than in flip flops or high heels.

If anyone has any info to the contrary, I'd like to see it. Thanks.

I've never heard of anyone actually getting ticketed for it, but many years ago I was driving barefoot and got stopped for something else (car I was driving was quite the oil burner & it was putting up a bit of a cloud). Cop who stopped me told me to put shoes on since it was against the law to drive barefoot. I did, and he let me go.
This was probably 20 years ago. Even then I knew better than to challenge a cop.
Someone else told me it was also illegal to drive without a shirt on. Never tested that one.

I never wear my high heels while driving.

In the 60s, men went to a hockey game in suit and tie. Or shopping! I miss those Days. What a modern society of slobs!

Probably in the 70s, or 80s my German Grandmother gave my sister Holy Helll for being on the bed in "JEANS"!

Meh, I wear flip flops when not at work 2.5 seasons a year. Always at home when doing most tasks, tractor or not.

Wife laughs at me when I wear gloves, while wearing flip flops.

Definitely not illegal in PA to drive in them.

Door Bell Rang, Crocs are here.

Pleased ad disappointed at the same time. I like the style, quality and design. Kind of reminds me of an aqua type shoe.

Had I been in a store, I probably would have opted for the next size up, as they have a closed in heel, over the Crocs Bistro.

Requires a finger in the heel to get them on. They feel better with light socks but that's not the point of getting them.

I'm not sure what to do? Not sure on exchanges. If I get the larger size, but actually prefer the smaller ones, then what. Not sure I like this On-Line stuff at all!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Seems I get to keep this pair at no charge! Will order larger pair.

NOTE TO SELF: On-line ordering GREAT to get stuff delivered to the door out in the middle of nowhere. NOT SO GREAT, if returns are necessary!

Never bother with returns on inexpensive items. We can always find someone to give things to. We also have a "Gently Used" store that will take anything.
