He didn't put a choker hold on that tree the first time and the strap slipped up, I just wish he showed the hook up from step one so I can follow it, I got and idea if not done right could be a bad seen.

Yes, it can be a bad scene. Sometimes people forget when rigging up all this mechanical advantage that they have far exceeded the working load limit of the anchor strap on the stump or the anchor point(s). When that lets go under load, it's like something shot out of a cannon. (For related fun, look at youtube fail videos of someone using their hitch ball on a truck as an anchor or recovery point).
I watched some of those stump pulling fails, some of them makes me wonder of what was they thinking.

Close...Just a pine log I had to move so I cut it up. Keeping it dry until I make kindling out of it. I can't be bothered with picking up and saving all those messy irregular slivers that come off the splitter. Another "To each his own" I guess.
