i got a 1971 john deere 820 3 cylinder diesel with some hydraulic issues. The three point arms are very slow to raise if they will raise at all but the steering seems to work ok. How do i check to see if its the pump or some other problem?

How long since hyd filter was changed & sump screen screen checked/cleaned?
Filter has been changed recently forgot about the sceen ill check that and get back to you
