Cyrus Hall McCormick was the inventor of the horse drawn reaper/binder. In the late 1800s two manufacturers were invited to show their early reapers in front of the assembled counts and kings of 18th century Europe. For one manufacturer, the confidence quickly turned to despair, as their reaper plugged up in the European wheat, as fertilised European wheat was more wieldly than North American prairie wheat. It was a disaster for them.

The McCormick reaper handled the French conditions well, much to the approval of the assembled nobles.

Back in the tent, the frustration over this loss of face of the competitor grew so high that it ended up in a big fistfight, in front of kings and counts...

they put some thought into it.. Blocks on the one with the tracks above the wheels. Blocked so the nose of one fits under the other. The one over the fifth wheel must tilt backwards and that is why the chain is there. I wonder where they put the boom arms? Did they take the buckets off?

The rear one looks like it has a stick and bucket. Good question about the others. I'm OK with the trailer not bending but the tires don't look very squished for that load. If it is Photoshop, they went to a lot of trouble!

IMG_2894 (1).jpg Saw this yesterday while driving home in the rain. The driver was also talking on his cell phone when I passed him on the interstate.

People should be required to post their cell phone numbers on the side of their vehicles. Ring, ring....."Hey dummy, you just lost your generator"

How about a Tag number on the side of the vehicle. Perfectly willing to call someone who can fix the problems that many drivers seem to not be willing to make the effort to do.

I picked up 3 full medical oxygen tanks a few years ago, which were scattered along a stretch of road. After asking around I found that the company delivery truck had been seen 15 miles past where I found the tanks, still driving with his doors open. Who knows how much was strewn along the roadside that day. I called the company who's name was on the tanks and made arrangements to drop them off at the nearby DOT, so that they could pick them up the next time they were making deliveries. A coworker told me that I was crazy; "Would you do that with a hundred dollar bill?"
If I knew who the owner was, I would.

What about this idiot

I actually only had to go about a mile from the trailer to the timber where we are building a new duck blind. The turns, trying to avoid the corn and potential to get stuck were my deciding factors. 1 more load after I get this one unloaded and a pallet of cement to go. You guys take your duck hunting seriously!!! The only times that I ever went we took canoes; one shooter in front, and a paddler in back.

The piece of trim was flapping all over in the wind. Would be surprised if they made it home in one piece.
