Like I said. Hard to pretend that life is as normal, nothing to see here folks. Just go discussing your tractors. I know, I know, it's a tractor site. Pretty soon, that won't much matter if people don't wake up.

Its just another day,another,crisis,another distraction. It never changes. Todays problems are no more concerning than the problems that have passed by over the last 400 years here on this soil. Its just that everyone thinks "todays" problems are the biggest, baddest, earth is going to end tomorrow nastiest problems ever. ...They are not... Its all relative, ..This too shall pass and next year we will continue to have the worst problems ever... and the following year and the following year and repeat. Its all just the background noise of life.

Sounds like the snowflake is skeerreeeeed of the world we live in, personally, I love waking up every day and getting something done.

The last two days I completed a 48" culvert letting me get into my woods without needing to cross my neighbors property ( they have always let me cross, but you never know when it may sell)

I have wanted to complete the culvert, and now it is done!

You have a very valid point. Our world has changed; we are in uncharted territory. The only thing I have left to keep me grounded is jumping on my tractor. It's the only place where I can focus on the task at hand and not worry about everything else.

Yeah! I am now the proud owner of a "new" to me, 2 year old J.D. X 350. Spent all day yesterday playing with it, and actually got my yard mowed! Trying to get used to all that new fangled stuff; it even has a gas gauge. On my LX172, you knew it was empty when it quit! It steers so easy, I can drink my beer and still make the turns...and to top it off, there is a cup holder built right into the right fender! Only thing it needs is a mulching attachment; if it has a radio (I listen to Rush Limbaugh) I haven't found it yet. Like my Dad used to say, "It'll do everything but suck eggs!"...and I don't even need a snowblower!



I tried to post a pic of the mower, but it must have been copyrighted or some such; it wouldn't let me post it "Invalid file"...so I thought this was appropriate. It's a picture of my neighbor; he has a Huskvarna or some such orangish thing.

I did the exact same thing 7 years ago. The culvert has never been used yet, but the peace of mind was worth it.

I have used it already, had my Ranger across it a few dozen times so far, and my tractor across it to get some stone to the other side.
