Mike, who has used RK tractors for the last few years just announced that he has switched to Kubota. He showed a new MX5400 and a BX tractor that they will be using for the next two years with a deal that he has with Kubota.

I found his channel originally when I was looking at tractors and back then he owned a Kubota, I believe it was L 3901, but I could be wrong on the model.

Anyway, enjoyed his videos and watching him use equipment in the size that I own.

If someone gave me a great deal on any tractor, I would buy it. Even a JD. Lol

I think they actually "loaned" them two tractors for two years. I don't believe any money changed hands there.

I never thought it would be Kubota. Didnt think they needed the exposure

It is really cheap advertising on Kubota's part. I have watched a few of their videos. He has a very attractive wife that helps him on every project, wonder how many people would watch if she was not in them?

Early on, Mike’s wife didn’t have a big part in his videos. I think she became a bigger part in order to help increase viewership. I actually liked the channel more in the early years, but pretty women attract attention.

When hobby users see these videos and the how well the tractor works for a guy who seems to use it a lot, it gives the lesser brand credence. Takes sales away from Kubota and JD.

He (Morgan) could be the twin brother of a guy from work.

They???
Which "they"??
About what??
RK, Kubota, Morgans?

Kubota.

Anyway a few years ago I bought a really nice slightly used (according to his ad) turf seeder off a guy who owns 2 websites. The thing listed for 10 grand new, he wanted $2500 bux. After we haggled he raised the price, claimed he was inundated with emails as he was asking far less than what the tool was worth. I asked him to hold it until the weekend when I could go pick it up 8 hours away, he did and agreed upon price went to 4 grand which I thought was 1/2 what it was worth.

When I got there the nice gent showed me the piece which had ZERO use, even the paint on the little turf aerators was never worn not one bit. I stated that the tool had never been put to turf, then quizzed him why, he said these companies send him these all of these new implements to test then he does videos of how good they are so they can sell more of them, he went on to say he sells all of the so called "test" implements for cash after he videos them because the companies don't want them back. I was happy and still own the turf seeder or plot seeder/planter.

My point is if Kubota gives or lends machines away for those who do utube stuff them there must be some monies in it for the tubers.
Not that it matters but one wonders how much $ is made from this site?

You and I both know that nothing is free. Not even the air we breathe. Everything has a price. If he wasn't getting some sort of compensation in some form or another, he wouldn't be doing it.

Reminds me of that family in Alaska, the popular TV series. They really don't live like that. Had a good friend spend 3 months in Alaska with his RV and visited them. You cannot even get near the place. Security cams everywhere and big No Trespassing signs and a locked fence. Real hospitable folks.

Far as I'm concerned the Morgans are fake. I won't watch that crap. Not interested.

If Mike Morgan negotiated a free, or very cheap Kubota, for after 2 years, good for him.
I strongly suspect he would much rather keep a 2 year old Kubota, than a 2 year old RK.

People who have these youtube video deals can do pretty good. Depends on how many subscribers and hits they get. I would not be surprised to hear they are ringing up $60,000+ per year, plus as another poster noted, they get sweetheart deals on the equipment they use and feature in the videos.

Guys like the theTFL truck testing dudes with all the videos they produce could be upwards of $1,000,000 in income.

The top Youtuber supposedly makes more than 16 million per year. The Morgan’s are nowhere near that but if they are good for them. They seem like good people and he gives an honest review IMO
