Got another coat of boiled linseed oil applied to the birdhouses' roofs.

Then made the trip and got new tires put on, went over to Jersey Mike's - which was across the street - and grabbed a Philly Steak while I waited.

Swung by Harbor Freight and picked up some acid/flux brushes on the way home.

Quite a few people out and about (drive back was during rush hour) ... but still not typical.

During dinner there were back-to-back ads for Jersey Mike's and the tire place I went to.

Coincidence ?

I think not ...

Got fourth birdhouse cleaned out - this was one the house sparrows had taken over the last several years, nest had 6 eggs in it.

Fourth pipe flange is in the acid bath.

Refashioned an old dolly with some scraps on hand to make a dolly suitable for my flail mower. Nice to be able to move it around, larger wheels would make it nicer.


Thinking a dolly for my brush hog would be handy.

Got one of the electric pressure washers working. Other one needs a new gun, possibly new hose.

Pressure washed part of the concrete in front of house, getting rid of some slippery algae.

Cleaned off top layer of dirt on the Ridgeline. Yesterday, after coming out of Walmart, Sophie remarked, “know how I found the truck? Looked for the dirtiest one. “ Ouch

Good Evening all. 50F for the start, cloudy with occasional sun calm wind. Got Windy in afternoon, then slowed down supper time, sky became mostly cloudy the overcast again, high temp 75F. Bike ride this morning, needed arm warmers in May! Put boat in water and went to help carp removal project today, project had more people show up than needed, so went home and took nap.
Covid update, Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson up 5 confirmed to 58 cases.
