Back on topic...

Broke out a new roll. Never before did I think about how long my supply will last. I am good for at least 2 months. Surprising how much more my fiancé uses.

She has more to wipe............

TP hasn't ever been an issue here in this house, virus or not. Selection is less but it's still there. Not so much with pork and chicken now that Tyson and Smithfield have closed plants due to the virus but we have a couple whole birds in the freezer and a pile of pork too.

Computer issues. Had to send it physically to my IT in Chicagoland to get it repaired, that took some time. Was using Tapatalk on my Andriod for a couple forums but it's a PITA and slow so I basically hibernated.

I'll never download a Windows 7-10 update again. Had him install another agent so he can decide and I don't have to.

I bet some members are just tickled I'm back..... not.:D

Don't worry, the Wuhan Flu ain't gonna get me if I can help ot.

ive never updated windows 7 since it was first installed. i use a program called Sandboxie to prevent anything from infecting puter. has been solid since installed years ago. I tried 3 different win10 computers...returned all 3. forced updated crashed system every time....and they were 3 different manufacturers. when my win7 finally fails....no more desktop computers for me. im retired and dont need them anyways. the phone can access whatever i need. while i personally hate Apple, i have 2 ipads that are pretty reliable.but i hate that your forced to do updated on them or they quit working.

I love Win7. My Bro upgraded to 10 and has problem after problem. I won't be doing it ever. If I have to choose I would just go for a new Mac instead. Never had a problem with my old one and it is late 2009 model. I did replace the hard drive with a SSD when it started to go. Updates are quite painless.
I also have a iPad and Android tablet but prefer the Android by far.
Not sure what you mean by iPads stopping if you don't update them. You can turn off updates. I don't update the Mac any more and it works perfectly well.

Old and feeble (my wife says) but I'm still here.

I bet people thought I 'succumbed'.... Not yet at least. If I get a dry cough, I'll tell everyone the end may be near. At that point, might as well come get my 2 Kubota's. Wife don't even know how to start them, let alone move them out of the barn.:D

Nice. My wife, about a month ago, ordered TP online at an Amazon affiliate. 10 rolls, 12 bucks. Came from china the other day. 10 miniature eolls of TP, suitable to wipe a hamster's butt.

You did good.

The local grocery has had it. We go during the 'old folks / retired special hours, 7-8am weekdays. All old farts and the store has TP and paper towels. Maybe not my wife's preferred brand, but my butt don't care.

I have the same problem, my wife refuses to learn how to move them. Doesn't matter that she should know for an emergency, so if you figure out how to get your wife to do it, please share with me.

Just back from my weekly run into town for mail & groceries... plenty of TP on the shelves, multiple varieties and number-per-package combinations. It was even stacked at the end of the aisles and on special = A$10 for a 12 pack.

There's been a couple of news reports about 'hoarders' trying to either return their 'excess' (the bloke gave the middle finger to the hoarder... on TV!) and some trying to sell theirs on eBay. Nobody's buying it from those wankers either.

There's no shortage of fresh meat around here too. Local supplier/slaughter and the providore/grocers have their own butchers.

I turned off updates, my iPad forced an update anyways. I suit it down, and when I powered it back up it started updating without asking permission. Apple is evil.

I don’t need tp, but I noticed the store had it on the shelf again. Limit 2 rolls. But my prepper wife had plenty. I guess I wont be able to bust her chops over preppers again.

Apparently some in Australia may have a near lifetime supply :)
