Good morning, the temp is 28°F and going to a high of 46. Wind WSW 6 mph. Mix of sun and cloud.
I will be taking a walk out back today to see if the ground is hard enough to get back and bury the cat. After that it might be the lean-to that needs to come down.
Have a safe and healthy day all
Hope you get your kitty buried soon.
Good afternoon! Decent weather day here. Too wet to mow though.
We went gun shopping today. My wife has a new toy.
Roger SP101, 38/357, 4.2 barrel. She liked how this one felt in her hand. The shop had another with a full wood grip she didn稚 care for the feel. Also tried out a GP100 with 3 barrel that was a close 2nd to this one. May go get that one for myself. I liked it. This one feels pretty good to me too. Balances nice.
She also has hatched 6 Silver Appleyard ducklings from eggs she ordered. Not a common breed. We had 2 in the past, the drake lived 10 years.
Everyone stay safe out there
Nice! My wife has the Colt King Cobra. I load the first two rounds as birdshot, (she's not the best aim when panicking). Also it'd be nice to hit a bad guy in the face with birdshot...I told her to just keep pulling the trigger until they stop....
Spread a few loads of gravel this morning for the neighbor. Then started cleaning up around our place. Started a fire and went around picking up limbs to stoke it. I still have about a dozen "widow makers" trees to bring down. Not exactly sure how to do it. Get this, the other day my wife and daughter started out on our county road for a walk and she said 2 buzzards both took off from a dead oak tree, and "the 8" branch they were on, just broke off as they pushed off. " It was about 15' long. So, I kind of want to lift up someone up to tie a long cable around the tree and pull the trees down from about 60 feet away.
Had the oldest daughter putting mixing some miracle grow in the watering bucket and watering the garden plants. Then I told her to water it good with the hose. (We haven't had significant rain in a while). Well it started thundering and I told her to keep watering or the storm will go around us. The first storm when a bit around us, but she kept watering and the next storm hit us good. We got an inch in about 30 minutes. We needed it.
We stayed in the barn with the roll up door down to about 4' off the ground and watched it rain and lightning.
She got scorpion bit last night at 1:45ish. Gave her some benedryl and put some vinegar/baking soda on it. She said it fell off the ceiling onto her, she felt something and took a swipe at it with her hand and it nailed her hand. I found it and killed it, went outside at 2am on a scorpion hunt and killed about 5-6 using a handheld blacklight flashlight/torch....and my shoe to stomp them. Need to spray.
Nice planet lineup mpham.
Hope the bar move goes good. Seems someone is always wanting to move/raise/lower the bar.
Sodamo, how's that keg of brew holding out in this virus quarantine?
topps, He looks like he's doing alright....maybe a tad young. My 10 year old can drive stuff, but still too short to reach the pedal with the seats all the way up. He's normal sized compared to his class mates.
