Good Morning!!!! 54F @ 8:30AM. Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. High 72F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph.
Congrats on your turkey, Wng! Hope you and the bear can find some way to get along. I'm getting reports of them coming out further up the canyon; I just hope they stay up there.
Nice shot of the planets, Phil, and the snow movie worked fine, too. What kind of camera is it that has such a long exposure setting for the planets?
I've had escaped cows on the property a couple of times; here I've heard it's MY responsibility to put up fences to keep them out.:confused2: I find it easier and more entertaining to chase them home with the Kubota side-by-side. But I don't get the neighbors not answering their phones. Don't they even have an answering machine?:muttering:
Glad your flowers dodged the frost bullet, Drew. How long before you start seeing blooms?
More and more wildflowers are popping up here every day, and the grass is getting longer, too. Gonna need to start mowing soon, but with no word yet from the dealer, who knows when they'll be able to give the tractor back?
Got the pump house cleaned out for the solar install yesterday; oh my gosh was it dirty in there. Going to throw out, or more likely, burn, a bunch of old molding that I haven't found any use for in ten years, along with a redwood 2x4 that is so warped in both directions I can't imagine using it for anything but firewood.
Aside from touching up the cut ends of the solar panel rack pipes, and pulling off the tarps from the concrete generator pad, I've done about as much as I can until the tractor gets back. Not sure what else I'll get up to today, maybe try to clean off a couple of bench tops in the garage/shop?
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
