Never got much wind today, just a little rain.

2x on the non ethanol gas ...

Have made that commute you speak of several times today ... and will probably make it several more times today by the time it’s all said and done.

Lot of rain today...pretty much finished now, I think...

My back is much better, other then an occasional twinge. Couple hours watching TV ("Hound of the Baskervilles" with Basil Rathbone, amongst others) with a heating pad did the trick, thank goodness!

The forecast was lots of wind lasting a good while today. We had wind, it wasn稚 bad, and is now over. But the temperature fell quicker than expected. I was a pansy and started the wood burner already. Feels good.

Was kind of busy on the phone helping a tech with an odd problem. He followed directions and had some good suggestions. It was one of 2 parts, neither one is cheap. Late in the day he called back, proved with one of his suggestions it was the part I originally suspected, thanked me for the help. That doesn稚 happen very often. I enjoyed working with him.

I hope this front doesn稚 bring any nasty weather to people east of here.

I looked up an inflation calculator; in 1974 when I started driving, that price today was equal to about 25 cents per gallon then. That is some cheap gas. 36 gallon tank was close to empty and it cost me less than 40 bucks to fill it up. Then 3 miles up the road was that beautiful view... Win / Win !
