Poured first cup of coffee. 50° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 53° with cloudy skies. Temperatures are going to be falling and high winds later today. Did not get anything done yesterday except phone calls. My older brothers Birthday was yesterday. Asked how it feels to be as old as a Dinosaur. He wouldn't expect anything less. Lots of critters yesterday. Turkeys, rabbits, ducks and all the usual birds. Ducks took a swim in garden pond.


David, thats a lot of rain. I have been getting 1/8" or less at a time this spring.

Roy, not good falling. Hope a little rest will make some of the pain go away.

Riptides, hope there is no major damage.

Buppies, stay safe. Need a picture of the bench when completed.

Drew, stay in and stay safe.

Mostly, pineapple in anything that has cheese on it does not agree with my stomach. I did have pineapple for dessert yesterday.

Weather keeps changing. We finally have no rain in the forecast for this entire coming week. However, we've had Spring, or even Summer, weather and now the temperature is back down to 37 this morning and only going for a high of a sunny 52.

42F raining mid 50's for high,once this low pressure gets to rolling high winds heavy rains all day into tonight could have flash flooding,hope rain and wind chews last 2 remaining BIG snow piles away so I can finish raking.

Outside chores done E muffin time. :licking:
Plans for today...Not really sure other than putter.

Good Morning. It's 48° here this morning .. feels like 43° with 15 mph north wind. Our high will maybe get to 67° this afternoon but looks like wind will stay with us.

I got more yaupon cut and stump killed yesterday.

Still a lot more to do plus chopping out the yaupon around the trunk.

Ron .. like your Duck pictures. I was mowing around our small pond when I flushed a female duck near the edge. I assume she had a nest in the tall grass.

Eric .. the only wood we burn here, at the ranch, is in a fire pit up at the house, another one by the shop, and a chiminea on our east patio for entertainment.

LS .. your water feature is coming along well. Hope you can get your gravel unloaded.

We've got 7 cases of Covid in our county .. all quarantined "at home".

Roy .. hope healing comes fast.

Good morning! 55 now, supposed to go to 61 then drop to 34 with rain and high winds this afternoon. Most of the rest of the week is supposed to be cool. Thinking the wood burner will get a work out again.

We went grocery shopping Saturday. Also stopped at Rural King. RK has a policy of 1 person per cart. Wife and I planned on getting 2 carts and kind of going our own ways when we were in the store. Lady working the admissions saw us walk up together, she grabbed 2 carts and let us go into together, each with a cart. I got a few things, as did the wife. I wandered by the gun counter, they allow 4 people at a time into the gun department. They had 4 in the department and at least 12 people lined up and waiting. Pretty well picked over for guns and ammo.

The grocery store had TP in stock for the first time in 4 weeks. We got an 8 pack. Most everything else other than some cleaners and wipes were in stock, though the supply seemed thin. I think supply chain issues are starting to rear their ugly head. Meat counter was well stocked though.

Worked outside yesterday. We had turkey for Easter. Wife made it in the oven while working outside. She does it in an oven bag. Not fried or smoked, but still really moist and tasty.

Internet repair guy is supposed to be here this morning. Made a list for him of the issues. But for whatever reason, it started working decent Saturday morning. I suspect they pushed out an update to their router software and fixed something. Last week when they got it to sort of work, there was a software issue at their router.

Easter meal for me will be ham with maple syrup as a glaze with pineapple and baked sweet potatoe maybe with MS on and asparagus.

People that keep horses just for the sake of keeping horses have more money than brains.

Good morning! 41˚F clear skies. My 2008 notebook died yesterday and I could only revive it with the original discs and now all the updates I did the last 12 years are not available so time to look for a new apple notebook. I also dropped my wife's iPad and cracked the screen yesterday and now face a 499 repaired or a 699 replacement, argh.

Supplied Mom for another two weeks and had a zoom Easter get together with brother at her house using the phone as a hot spot.
