Ted- I probably sold my last year's garden rock crop to your supplier

It may be cabin fever (or worse), but I've been "sheet composting" all Winter long in the garden area +/-, and every time I walk by the garden nowadays and the surrounds, and even over the constant Spring Peepers peeping, I hear this dumb done...dumb done.. dumb done. kind of feeling:eek: that there is "movement" in my garden area; serpentine-like; not like a swamp thing kind of guy would make.

Despite the weather, it was a go mode for smoking that turkey breast.

brogen supervised.

Nice pictures guys! Ron, glad you got your groceries, it’s hit and miss around here yet. It got to 78° today, winds gusted over 50 locally, near 70 north of here. Thunderstorms split as the approached the Bay and went north and south of us. We had light showers until about 8 am, no rain this afternoon with the front.
I welded my trash can lift yesterday and finished it today, I used part of the old one that burned in my building fire in 2017. This time I’m using it on the 3 pt hitch, had it on Cub 3208 on a sleeve hitch, but lost it all in the fire. The hydraulics are a little jerky compared to the linear actuator. But it seems to work well. Sometimes my back isn’t up to rolling the can out, and I just like gadgets even if I don’t use them much.

Had one grandson today so I didn’t get too much else done.
Everyone please stay safe, prayers.

I tried Walmart groceries again, no slots available thru Sunday.

Still windy, had another rain blow thru.

Sister still the same.

"The hydraulics are a little jerky"

Your MF probably has a 3-point adjustment knob, at the bottom, front of your seat. Try adjusting it for different weights on your 3-point.

Wow, a lot of nice pictures....storms...BIG doggies....rain....boulders...

Kyle, I think the biggest issue with asparagus here is our winters are normally just too mild. Here’s some guidance from TAMU.

Asparagus - How long does it take to grow asparagus?

Thanks Rick! I have failed to keep them weeded, fertilized, and probably proper ph.

Anybody else have trouble with the login in after the sever went down. I had to get temp password now I can't reset it If I try I get locked out and have to get a new temp password.......

Nope.

Watch out for the wind Kyle and Rick - up to 55 mph in the thunderstorms I’m sending your way.

Thanks Don. We got a lot of wind, but no rain.

So, I went and tilled the weeds in the garden before it turns back to mud soup.

Also put the motor in my son's project minibike. Good news, I thought I was missing a lot of parts including the carb...but I found them taped to the side of the rebuilt motor in a separate baggie....kind of like livers and gizzard in a bag inside a turkey.

Good evening all. 64F for the start, cold front passage, overcast, windy. Sky cleared off wind dies down in afternoon, and high temp was 71F. As noted I had a grocery run in the morning, shelf stock overall better but with more distancing guide lines in the stores, slowed the shopping pace. By the time got home groceries cleaned off and put away, it was 4 1/2 hours, as opposed to ab out 2 hours before. Lunch prep and lunch then nap and a short ride. catch up in morning.

Yep, same here Kyle.

Lots of wind but .. not a drop of rain. I'm not disappointed .. since we got 5"+ on the weekend.

Survived our adventure to town.
Walmart not bad. Got there just after opening and pleasantly surprised at parking availability. But that was before we learned the line in was at opposite end of the building. Not bad though time in line was about same as it took to get there. They did control entry, but it was more a rolling stop. Once in still a lot of stocking going on. We found everything on our list, including TP.
Everyone quite nice. Surprised at number of employees engaged in a crowd control manner. I think they had more registers open than normal.

Next stop was on the Army Reserve post where we get dog treats at the PX.

Then on to the grocery store we most frequent, Cost U Less. We arrived about 10 minutes before opening and a properly distanced line was forming. E just waited in the car until they opened the door. Their shipment must have just come in as a lot of stocking taking place. Still empty bays as was case 3 weeks ago. Posted was I think the best sign - ALL returns denied until further notice. They had several name brand TP, wife got a Charmin. Sure were a lot of carts with what might be seen as party quantity of wine.

Got to Vet about 1/2 hour early. Almost noone else there in waiting area. As soon as checked in taken for weights then told to wait in closest exam room. Techs did their part and said there were 2 people ahead of us, but Dr showed up in just minutes. By this time, Kekoa was like crazy and recognized the Doc. He was like, wow, people after 3 weeks of being ignored. Kalani does indeed have a tumor but as it isn’t presently bothersome, decision is to wait and observe given her age. She’ll be 13 come July. Both had their exams and updated shots. Add in 12 doses of their heart worm preventative and my credit card too a good hit. Amazingly one of better visits as for time management, in and out.

One last stop, another grocery chain. This one has an award program. Easter and Thanksgiving 1 free turkey for 1 award. We got ours. Waited to get milk and juice there even though we had cooler. Also picked up chicken and salad at the deli to take home for lunch.

All in all a good day, but wouldn’t chose to live this way. Picked up everything on the list. Don’t anticipate doing again for another 3 weeks.

Most people masked. Some had gloves. Stores all marked off for 6 ft intervals. Cash registers had shields.

Mayor of Kauai has coined interesting term for his non compliant visitors - COVIDIOTS.

34 right now...high in the low 40's. Per the weather underground, rain and snow this morning...didn't see any snow outside (yet). Going to be a crappy day weather-wise,, though.
Fortunately, last day of the work week...
