Riptides did you hear about the big hailstorm in Augusta County last night?

58 and 83 with a thunderstorm visible to the west. We had one yesterday, but not the hail Augusta or Richmond got. We did get a double rainbow afterwards.

Hummingbirds have returned :cool2: one came two days ago, and now 2 yesterday.

That Covid model that predicts the peak for each state shifted for Virginia a whole month yesterday...had us at May 20, a month later than all surrounding states, then in yesterday's update, moved us in line. I've noticed a lot of movement in the models being relied on to make decisions. I guess that's understandable since things change, and a model is only as good as its input and assumptions.

CV19 count up to 9 this morning for my county, going up by one or two a day.
Sure helps being fairly remote, the counts further West of here are much higher

First cup of coffee is almost gone. 49° with some fog this morning. Heading to 67° with partly cloudy skies today. Storm moved thru my area last night. Hail, lighting and heavy rain. Some area's got golf ball sized hail. Need to check for damage today. Got some pond cleanup done yesterday. Will do more today.
Day 5 since I last left my house. 25 days of stay at home. Giving up on data for virus. Since only people with symptoms are being tested.
I have a package that was shipped from eastside of Detroit last week. Last scan shows it in PITTSBURGH PA. :confused3:

Looking, lots of info on site. Most of those sites data gets out of date so fast. Got to be impossible to keep up with it all.

Don, have your wife put a bowl upside down on your head. Cut all hair that sticks out below bowl rim. Should be good until you will be allowed out in public again. I had problem with fogged up glasses when wearing mask. Until I adjusted mask so it did not happen.

RNG, hunkering down is the best way. BUT???????????

Good morning! A warm 73˚F before sunrise heading to the 90s.

Ron a haircut that way will look like a bowl with a hole in the middle.

Mowed yard yesterday on EGO level 3. I'll try to keep it at 3 till the middle of May and then go to 4.
Today I'll wash the truck and sharpen all my brush cutting tools and maybe expand the washing to include Whipper.
I missed a cool attic day and will now have to wait till next week to complete that project.
